How do you learn clauses easily?
To learn clauses easily, start by understanding the basic types: independent and dependent clauses. Break down sentences to identify these components, practicing with simple examples before moving to more complex ones. Use visual aids like diagrams to map out clause relationships, and reinforce learning through exercises and quizzes. Consistent practice and application in writing will help solidify your understanding.

How many questions do you have to miss to get a 93 on an 80 question test?
According to my grade calculator out of a 80 question test the break point would be 40 for a D-, 43 D, 46 D+, 50 C-, 53 C, 56+, 60 B-, 63 B, 66 B+, 70 A-, 73 A, 76 A+. This is the number correct out of the 80 possible. So, for your 93% you could miss 4 questions.
How soon after two o'clock will the hands of a clock form a 40 degrees angle for the first time?
At two o'clock the hands will form 60 degrees so use a protractor and set the hands at 40 degrees to read out the time which should be nearly two minutes after two because one minute is equals 6 degrees.
What describe spreadsheet software?
A spreadsheet is an interactive computer application program for organization and analysis of information in tabular form. Spreadsheets developed as computerized simulations of paper accounting worksheets. The program operates on data represented as cells of an array, organized in rows and columns. Each cell of the array can contain either numeric or text data, or the results of formulas that automatically calculate and display a value based on the contents of other cells.
The user of the spreadsheet can make changes in any stored value and observe the effects on calculated values. This makes the spreadsheet useful for "what-if" analysis since many cases can be rapidly investigated without tedious manual recalculation. Modern spreadsheet software can have multiple interacting sheets, and can display data either as text and numerals, or in graphical form.
In addition to the fundamental operations of arithmetic and mathematical functions, modern spreadsheets provide built-in functions for common financial and statistical operations. Such calculations as net present value or standard deviation can be applied to tabular data with a pre-programmed function in a formula. Spreadsheet programs also provide conditional expressions, functions to convert between text and numbers, and functions that operate on strings of text.
Spreadsheets have now replaced paper-based systems throughout the business world. Although they were first developed for accounting or bookkeeping tasks, they now are used extensively in any context where tabular lists are built, sorted, and shared.
Visicalc was the first electronic spreadsheet on a microcomputer, and it helped turn the Apple II computer into a popular and widely used system. Lotus 1-2-3 was the leading spreadsheet whenDOS was the dominant operating system. Excel now has the largest market share on the Windows and Macintosh platforms.[1][2][3] A spreadsheet program is a standard feature of an office productivity suite; since the advent of web apps, office suites now also exist in web app form.
What is the answer to question 3 in Away with words pg 88?
We can't answer this question, since we don't have a copy of the book. But even if we did, it would be cheating for us to do your homework. That said, we would be happy to explain something you don't understand about question 3, so please let us know. Then you will be able to answer it yourself.
How do you compound error for physics A2 coursework?
If plotting a graph and are producing a straight line to find a gradient:
You plot a line of best fit, then you plot two other lines starting from the same point which show the extreme lines of best fit (do this in fainter lines so that the best one stands out).
Find the gradients for all three lines, use the first line that you drew as the main value.
Then find the largest difference between the middle line and the extreme lines
E.g. if the gradient of the lines were:
First line gradient = 1.2
Second (Top extreme line of best fit) gradient =1.5
Third (Minimum extreme line of best fit) gradient = 1.0
Find the larget difference:
1.5-1.2=0.3
1.0-1.2=-0.2
Therefore the largest difference is 0.3 (not 0.2)
Therefore your final result would be: 1.2 (+-) 0.3
I hope this helps :D

Do rewards make student work harder?
yes if kids get rewards they will work harder and try to get more rewards
Yes and no. As a professor, I can tell you that a student who does not study and who gets wrong answers on exams will fail my course; there are also students who try, but who just don't understand the subject matter, and some of them will fail a course too. So, yes, in that use of the word, it is possible to fail. But if you are talking about life, "to fail" is a judgment. It's a harsh judgment, that tells you you're just a loser, a failure, no good, etc. But it's often wrong, and it's often unfair. In addition, it creates some very negative self-perceptions, and can lead to a lack of confidence.
For example, I am not good at algebra. I got a failing grade in it and had to hire a tutor and go to summer school. To this day, I am not good at algebra. But am I a failure in life because there is a subject I'm not good at? I don't think so, because I am good at other things; I went on to get my college degree and even got two master's degrees and a PhD eventually. The problem is that human beings tend to obsess about the things they did poorly at, and they tend to believe they will always do poorly at them. But that is not always accurate. Things can change. Years later, you may have a different viewpoint on what you did back then; you may develop new ways of doing it, and you may do it better. And even if, like me, you never improve at a certain thing, focusing on that one thing does not help you to move forward-- especially since there are probably other things you can do quite well. So, I prefer to say that other than in school, the word "to fail" isn't helpful. It's better to think of something as "I didn't do well on that, but I'm going to find a way to improve" or perhaps, "I'm not going to worry about what I'm not good at; I'm going to focus my energies on my skills, and work to develop them."
What is really on the CCST exam by ISA and is the study guide worthwhile?
I just took the International Society of Automation CCST exam, the study guide applies to probably 1/3 of the exam, lots of stuff about troubleshooting pneumatic instruments that as an electrician I'd never done. I'd memorized the study guide, & had to guess/reason out the other 2/3 of the exam, which took me 3 1/2 hrs, had an hour to review the answers. Passed anyway! Happy Dance!
