How do you replace headlamp bulb on 2001 ford focus?

The bulb is held in by a metal wire. The wire is secured by a plastic clip at the top. Once unclipped the wire hinges down. To unclip the wire. You have to look at the very top and find the end of the wire (it is a little loop). You have to push this little loop with your finger back and to the left or right (depends on what side of the care you're on). Doing this will unclip it from the plastic piece. You should then be able to swivel/hinge the wire down. Then you can pull the bulb out and change it. Then just hinge the wire back up and clip it back at the top when you put the new bulb in. (You'll probable need a mirror to be able to see the little loop you need to push the first time.)

YES! THANK YOU! After years going nuts replacing my '02 Focus headlamp bulbs, tonight was the first time I easily did it! My '02 Focus user manual does not mention you have "push" the clip back first to dislodge it. After that step you can swivel it away so the the bulb can be removed. ONE SUGGESTION: Once I removed the bulb cover it was hard to see where the wire clip "loop" was located. I don't have a small mirror so tonight using a digital camera (or try a cell phone camera), I took a picture of the bulb housing so I could see where the wire clip "loop" was positioned which helped. Thank you again!

How often do the spark plugs on a 2000 Ford focus need to be changed?

There is nothing set in stone as far as mlieage is concerned, there can't be. The reason is that the life of a spark plug depends mainly on what type of driving you do, and how good the gas is that you are using. If you use nothing but top grade fuel, and only drive on the highway, you are going to get a lot more life from the plugs than someone who uses cheap gas and drives stop-start constantly through town all the time. The Focus plugs are double platinum plugs, so you may get 100,000 mles out of them, that seems to be the general consensus, but it is really a judgment call on the part of the technician who pulls the plug out and examines it.
