There are six plugs. The plugs are located at the end of the spark plug wire. There are 2 banks of plugs. One bank you can see and the other bank is located ib the back of the engine.

Put in the factory code, within 5 seconds hit the 1/2 button then enter the 5 digit code of your choice. The door will lock and unlock to let you know it worked. Both the factory code and your new code will work

the proper torque is 20 ft. lbs. the proper torque spec for a freesyle is 20 ft. lbs. That is what the factory calls for

After looking at a couple of diy sites, I found that one must:

1. Remove the two screws at the outside back of the tail light cover

2. loosen the tail light cover from the two clips at the front of the cover by gently prying it toward the rear. Fingernails worked for me. The bottom clip seemed easier. If it is too tight, try a screwdriver near the bottom, then near the top prying toward the rear of the car.

3. the top light is the backup lamp (white), and the bottom light is the brake/turn/rear light (red).

4. rotate the lamp 1/3 turn to remove and replace.

5. test.

6. replace the cover by aligning the screw holes then pushing the cover into the clips and replacing the screws.

The code is a five fairly large number digit code on a white sticker on top of the fuse box. The fuse box is underneath the steering column and is bolted in. You can either unscrew it (time consuming and messy) or use a flashlight and mirror while lying down in the driver side floor board to find/read it. I recommend the later. It takes some time to line up the flashlight and mirror to find it on the back of the fuse box, however. Once you see the five digit number, you'll know that what it is because the numbers are about a 1/2 inch tall and it doesn't look like a serial or part number. Remember, after you find it, you'll have to transpose the numbers because the mirror shows everything backwards. Good luck!

Use a C clamp that carpenters use to hold pieces of wood together. Put the solid part of the clamp on the back of the caliper and the screw part inside the piston and tighten the piston back into the bore.
