get new plugs/wires could be alot of things though like clogged cats leaky exaust vacuum leak but i would try new plugs and wires get oem wires from motorcraft not ones from autozone they work alot better these cars are relly touchy with the type of wires

the crank sensor is a two bolt one plug swap on the left passinger side of the crank it is a pain to get to remove three serpentine belts pull ac out of the way to give clear shot to sensor its about 2and half inches long eith a forty five crook in itthe cam sensor is located where the dist would be if it was a non sc eng dir swap don't swap cam sens plug with coil pack plug it will run for a while then fry cam sens or coll pack

there are little clips on the back you take off and it should just slide out

Remove the plastic cover under the steering column and the plastic steering column cover ( screws under column ) put the key in and turn to the run position, don't start on the bottom of the lock cylinder you will see a hole about the size of a paper clip you can use a paper clip insert into the hole and the cylinder will come out by pulling on it Then just reverse the procedure to put the new one in

i have a 95 dodge ram 360 and i believe that it is vacume advanced for the distributor but then again i changed my spark plugs wires and distributor/cap and my truck started missing...???/ i have a 95 dodge ram and the same thing happened i had to rout the ignition wire over the valve cover

Simple test if you have the tools is to get a air compressort at very low psi put air to the tank and watch for leaks do a pressure test, you can also take a fuel line off from the engine compartment and pressure test it back to the tank that way. Hope that helps.

I can't imagine the two are related. Try turning your steering wheel left and right when taking it out of Park. Sometimes just releasing the pressure on the shift mechanism lock will allow you to get it out of Park. For the brake lights, check the fuses. Good luck.

Hey Susan==Change the fuel filter and see if that cures it. If not have the fuel pump preasure checked. GoodluckJoe My '96 T-Bird with 4.6 L OHC engine starts to miss sometimes due to spark jumping across the ceramic of the plugs from the top to the base. Cleaning out the plug hole in the head and replacing the plug with a new one corrects the problem. Usually only one or two at at time start to do this. On my car, the cylinder at the front passenger side is the most frequent, but others have done it too. You can see a black trace down the ceramic on the plug where an electrical path has formed. It's amazing that the spark will jump so far (about 3/4" or more) down the ceramic on the outside of the plug, rather than going inside the plug where it's supposed to go and jump about a 0.050 inch gap. Thanks guys for the reply & suggestions. We did solve the problem. It was the spark plugs. They were gapped too wide. After that was fixed, everything worked fine. Susan

I HAVE A 01 MALIBU AND MY ABS LIGHT IS ON COME TO FIND OUT THAT I NEED NEW ROTORS AND BRAKE PADS ON MY CAR...... I HAD BRAKE PADS PUT ON LAST MONTH BUT THEY WORE OUT QUICK A MALIBU IS NOTHING BUT TROUBLE..... I HAVE HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE THEFT SYSTEM AS WELL..... the car blow low beeps a couple of times on its own.... also none of the lower buttons on the temp. panel works such as the AC, and rear defrost and the other 2 buttons I'm trying to find out whats wrong with that now b/c i need my ac i live in Hot Georgia
