A problem has been detected with the Anti-lock Brake System

It could be a fuse , a sensor , or some other problem

As long as the red " BRAKE " light in your dash is not on , you still

have " normal " brakes

* in my case , the ABS light suddenly came on and the first ABS fuse

that I checked was not installed all the way . I touched the fuse with

my finger , heard a " click " sound , and the ABS light went out

( just lucky I guess , but I'm also wondering how that could have happened

Check the gear on the cam shaft, you can see it through the hole that the distributor mounts in.

the 352 ci is a fe motor along with the 390 but far as the same no the 390 is a bigger motor more power but will interchange with the 352 list of fe motors ,330 332 352 360 390 406 427 428

if its a 5.0 it would be right near the alternator, there is a plug in the very top that's a triangle shape with three screws in it (and a plug connected to the front of it. it should be grey in color and when u pull that off there will be a small metal stem attached to the bottom )and a threaded nut connected at the bottom with a metal pipe coming out of the bottom of the nut. its a big nut u need to twist off. but that's it right there on the passenger side

i put a 15 gallon jeep cj5 tank uuder the bed of my 69 ford truck, and used a jeep sending unit for it. works great, also its a 1985 model tank. i cut a hole in my bed floor to fill the tank up. alot of ppl put them there but its really ur choice. that gets the tank out of ur cab, and frees up alot of room behind ur seat. total cost was 150.00. that's all new parts though. u could go used and save ur self a little mony. hope this helps. lpaws45. email me at lpaw44@AOL.com for more info.

You will need to remove all vacuum hoses from the distributor (and don't forget to plug the hoses!). Next you will want to hook up a timing light and then take the hold-down bolt loose just enough so you can move it with some force (not too loose cuz then it'll move around after you got the timing set right). Then start the engine and warm it up (or warm it up before hand, either way timing has to be done on a warmed up engine, if the timing is so bad the car wont stay running, just get it close enough that it will stay running (adjust it one way, start the engine, if it stays running let it warm up, if it gets better than try going further, if it gets worse than go the other direction) and then warm it up). Once the engine is warmed up, turn on your timing light and point it at the harmonic balancer (the big thing that is attached to the crank, it will be the lowest thing attached to the front of the engine and it will be a good inch or two thick at least). Then, turn the distributor until the timing mark on the balancer lines up with the timing pointer (usually mounted on the engine at the top passenger side of the balancer). Once it lines up, shut the engine off, tighten the hold down bolt and start the engine again and double check the timing is still correct. After that shut the engine off again and connect the vacuum hoses and you should be good to go.
