New HeadlineA manual is always useful. I recommend you have one for every car you own. The answer to your question however, depends on whether the pump is captive or not. The captive style pump must be removed along with it's bracket and have the pulley pulled with special tools(that can be rented at most autoparts stores), then it can be unbolted and replaced. The pulley then needs to be pressed back on, which is difficult due to the plastic reservoir and ungainly bracket. You may be able to simply unbolt the non captive pump. Strongly recommend having a second person help you!! Pop the hood and remove the 2 bolts at each lever. Recommend using black sharpie to circle where the bolts were on the lever just to keep the alignment right on the hood. Ben

No special tools needed, just the usual: c-clamps, wrenches, ratchet. I believe the caliper bolt is an 18mm, not sure on the slide bolts. I finished in less then an hour the first time I did it.
