Are Mormons concerned with their temple rituals being Masonic?
No. Most members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) who have participated in temple ceremonies know and understand the difference between their ceremonies and those of the Masons. Only one Mormon temple ceremony bears similarity to one Masonic ritual - they follow a similar pattern and that is all. The overall lesson and covenants made are completely different, as are most of the symbols. Many Mormons are Masons and can attest that the ceremonies are not the same.

The temple rituals are ancient, and follow a pattern set forth in the Old Testament. That the Masons can read the Old Testament means only that the pattern is made sufficiently clear to those who know scripture.
There is also evidence that forms of ancient temple worship were passed on from father to son, and through priestly guilds, since ancient times, and that that the predecessors to Masons may have been privy to that knowledge. That means that you must be known by a couple of people who are already members in order to join. Even if you are recommended for membership, there is no guarantee that you will be accepted. Those outside of Freemasonry and its inner circle of secrets, who have not audited their customs, who do not recognise the ciphers embellished in written signatures, or do not otherwise understand the distortions they encode into Masonic written signatures - will never be able to dicipher a Freemason from a profane.
An honest, non freemason, with no hidden agenda, with no reason to conceal their true identity will use a written signature that does not employ known masonic ciphers or replace an actual "true" name with other characters that indicate to fellow members - a membership to secret society.

How are the Christians to treat the Freemasons?
This gives us an opportunity to learn the true nature of Christians. If they believe Jesus said to love others as themselves, do Christians really love others, including Freemasons? Surely we should at least treat Freemasons with respect and friendship.

I think what you are asking is "how do you become a freemason?", if so, the old line is " to be one, ask one". If you know someone who is a mason, ask them about it and find out if it is right for you. If you don't know a Mason, then pull out the phonebook or website and look up Masonic Hall or Lodge in your area and give them a call and perhaps a memeber will meet with you to discuss membership. To become a Mason, you must be a male, over 21, and believe in a Supreme Being ( it doesn't matter what name you give him/her , as long as you have a belief in God). It does take quite a bit of time and ot a lot of money to join, but it isn't for everyone, and a Mason should be able to advise you on this. It's like my Grandpa always said " Different people like different things, which is good, because otherwise, everyone would be after your Grandma"
Can a person with a felony become a freemason?
Eventually if your a felon, you can gain some privileges back. but otherwise, there is really nothing you can do to gain your rights back. once you make a bad mistake, you live with that mistake for the rest of your life. so if you are the felon, then i am really sorry for you, you are pretty screwed when it comes to being a Freemason sorry
