As soon as you are 18 you can move out whether you are still in high school, have a GED, or have graduated. Once you are 18 you are a legal adult and you can do whatever you want, living arrangement-wise. Your parents can also kick you out when you are 18 because they no longer have to do anything for you, insurance, car, money, anything.
Can you get financial aid without diploma or GED in college?
The GED, or standard high school diploma even, doesn't have that much to do with it. What matters more is that you have been admitted to a college or university, which doesn't always require a high school diploma. You will begin the financial aid process with the FAFSA application early in the year you will start college classes. Construction. For an 18 year old in excellent health and strong but uneducated and a high-school drop out, construction will pay you the highest wages. You could expect to earn about $10/hour and this is $2 an hour over a retail job or warehouse job which is about the only other kind of job you are qualified for without a high school diploma.

I have been looking as well. So far, No evidence I have found. I am searching because I am Black, and I also have a GED and I am working towards and undergrad in Biotech en-route to Medical school.
