it could be a iac valve or a vac leak start with vac leak search if all vacum lines are right then turn to your iac idal air controle
Metro = Metropolitan For example: Metropolitan Phoenix, AZ would include all the suburbs around the city as well as the unincorporated county areas.
You can find the diagram for the fuse box on a 1990 Geo Metro in the car's owner's manual. You can also check local auto part retail stores.
You have a bad blower motor.
i have seen a lot of the switches go bad turn on the fan and try pushing down on the fan switch and see if the fan comes on
Just to add a liitle to this reply generally if it is your fan switch not all of the speeds burn out at the same time so try turning the switch to every position if any of them turn on ur fan than its just the switch if none of the fan speeds work than it is your blower motor.
buy or make a 1/4" curved pick, approx 6 " long, slightly larger ok, small diameter material. slip it behind the plastic washer around the window crank, feel for the window handle clip, approx the diameter of a paper clip and shaped kind of like an old non spring clothspin, there is room to hook the clip on the top, a gap is provided. give it a tug and watch where it flys to. reinstal the clip before you insert the new crank handle.
not difficult, just frustrating the first time. dave
I dont think you remove the nut in the center of the hub, your rotor is more than likely just rusted on to the hub.
best thing to do is take it to a dealer but if you have a little girl you can shove her up between the radiator and transmission and have her pop the hood with a screwdriver
original equipment is 155 80R13.
I have Mazda 14" wheels on mine and am running 195 60R14
Edited: The flasher for the turn signals is usually located on or near the column under the dash. Unscrew the three screws holding the cover on. The flasher unit is that 1" cylindrical unit with two posts plugged in to a wire. To replace, unplug, and plug in a new one.
The hazard flasher is a separate system.
Unedited: Look at the hazzard flasher; usually in fuse box round 1" or square 1") to get an idea of what it looks like and pull it out; then when you think you have found the turn signal unit, plug it in to see if that fixes it.
No, it has a throttle body. The throttle unit resembles a carburetor except that there is no fuel bowl, float or metering jets. The fuel is sprayed directly into the throttle bore by an injector. It's actually fuel injection, except the fuel is injected in the module beneath the air cleaner as opposed to each individual cylinder.
Try adjusting the clutch. Never downshift to slow down, press the clutch and use the brake to slow down it will save your engine and clutch. Downshift to pass or to rapidly speed up but be sure to have the revs up higher than when you were in the higher gear.
I would suspect bad wheel bearings. It can also be worn brake pads that you hear grinding, especially in a turn or while applying the brakes. If you find the brake pads are good, inspect the wheel bearings. Our 94 Pathfinder was making a noise when we sharp-turned right. Turned out to be the front right boot was broken. Hope this may help. Since 87-95 Pathfinders only came with auto hubs, the front axles do not spin when the transfer case is in 2WD. Therefore, having a broken boot would not cause any noise even when turning. Nice attempt though. -88pathoffroad
I'm kinda new with the Geo, but I understand that the long block engine is the same in all of them. What is different are all the accessories, IE fuel system, ignition system, etc, etc. I would strip everything off the bad motor and carefully put them on the new motor. The only thing I don't know about is the position sensor for the crank. I'd probably put the front pullyN (which has the position sensor in it) onto the new motor. Good luck! leehduncan@verizon.net
97 uses obd2 94 uses obd1 wiring harness would not just plug and play. alternator
water pump belt is wider on the 97 if i remember right some of the crank pulleys have
five bolts and some have four? could be wrong on that one though.basically the engine is the same but almost everything else is different.
(Pre 1995) I see the weights on two door hatch backs are around 1,650 lbs. A four door hatch back may be another 50lbs. If you are talking about 1995 and newer, sorry but don't know.
