Replace the thermal actuator in the front differential.

THe oil pump is in the oil pan, pan must be removed to access it. If the truck does not have a funtional oil pressure guage then you'll need to hook one up to pressure test it. I am not sure where the possible hook up points are. Usually a "plug" can be found by the distributor or the oil filter though.

If its a half ton automatic its a 4l60E if its a one ton automatic its the 4l80E.

The Silverado and Sierra may look the same on the outside, but are actually pretty different under the shell. The Silverado has been and has always meant to be the cheaper version of the Sierra. The Sierra, as well as all GMC trucks, have always meant to be the better-built, stronger, more luxurious, and more suitable versions of its Chevrolet brothers. The Silverado is practically the standardized, stock model while the Sierra is the big boy truck.

its very hard. u have to get a crow bar and literally pop/but the hood open. after its poped open. fix the damage you have done..... sorry but that's the only way to do it.

new battery,altnator,starter,changed all fluids and still not start. but it will turn over.acts like its not getting spark or maybe fuel but i hear the fuel pump kick on but still nothing. and also just replaced the ecm computer module too and still nothing need help asap thanks.

The 1994 GMC K1500 Sierra takes 18" wiper blades on both sides front. See sources and related links below for more information. Today I had this repaired on My pickup. The front crash detector was bad. Total cost to repair at you friendly GM dealer was $410.00

Open the hood, remove the pins holding the headlamp assembly, remove headlamp assembly, now you can reach in and remove the day time bulb socket assembly to replace the bulb. Repeat procedure on other side.

Need to know the year. they are all different.

if it is the 5.7 it should be on the left side of the upper intake. about 3 inches tall and about 2 in diameter. it will have an electrical connector and plastic tube connected to it.

There should be at least three O2 sensors in that vehicle, one in each exhaust pipe after each exhaust manifold and one after the catalytic converter.

I will try to save you all the time i wasted looking for where they hid the disconnect and get right to it. There are 2 plugs on the back of the distributor. One has a light tan with black stripe wire in with the rest of them. Try to get enough slack in the wires to cut just that one. Then splice in a piece of 18 gauge wire with it's own single plug. Plug the main plug back in, and leave the tan/black wire unplugged. Set your timing to zero degrees, then plug the tan/black wire in. The tan/black wire isolates the engine computer when unplugged so you can set the base timing at zero. When you plug it back in the computer takes over the timing to adjust for rpm,vacuum,and all the assorted functions that we didn't need computers for when i was growing up. Have a nice day.

Vehicles of that vintage originally used Freon 12, BUT, you can easily convert to 134-A. You'll need to have someone evacuate any remaining freon from your system and remove any of the oil. Some of the oil used in Freon 12 systems is reported to be incompatable with the 134-A refrigerant, but I actually haven't encoutered any. You'll need the adapter connections, but they're relatively inexpensive at most auto parts retailers, then you'll need a can of oil charge and however many additional cans your Dakota will need.

There may be different locations on different years. The most common ones are in the drivers side engine head between the 1st and 2nd spark plug. They are also found on the top of the thermostat cover where the top radiator hose meets the block.

Not sure, but try looking up under the dash on the passenger side.

If it is like my 2001 silverado, then there is a large black plastic cover you have to take off - I think there are 7 Phillips screws holding it on. Then look for a black cover that's about 1"x4" around the middle of the passenger's floorboard. Mine has two filters, both located in that compartment.

Best advice - go to the auto parts store, tell them what you're trying to do and they may give you an exploded view print off specifically for your vehicle. Try Advanced or NAPA, I've gotten printoffs from both of them before
