where is the power window circuit breaker located on a 1999 GMC Serria 1500

It's very simple, but requires a finesse of pressure so as not to snap the plastic trim. What you'll need - Your wife's pancake flipper, small suction cup small socket set. Start in the top right or left corner with a suction cup. Pull out just enough to get the rubber or plastic pancake flipper behind the trip piece. The metal spring will pop out with just the right pressure. It's important to know exactly where they are located so you are prying closest to the spring and not just on the plastic trim. The first 2 will likely pop simotaneously, then you'll be able to see in where the next spring is and make sure you pry right on that location and the next spring will release. Move to the other side starting at the top again, and work your way down. There is only one spring on the bottom in the middle. Note-the trim piece is all one piece, even across the top of the CD player, and this is the thinnest piece of plastic and most likely to crack, so be very carefull, and mindful of that fact. Once the radio screws are exposed, remove all 4, and the other 4 screws for the climate control and the lighter will also likely have to come out as they overlap, otherwise you will risk cracking the mounting points. if there are no signs of leaks on the ground, gm is known for leaky head gaskets. i have the problem on my 03 grand am gt. look around the plenum or intake manifold and you should see signs of antifreeze burn-off or small accumulation puddles in the crevices of the block or cylinder heads. or check your oil and see if it looks like a "strawberry shake" color, if yes then it's leaking into your oil passages...not good!!!! your engine may stall due to lack of lubrication meaning EXPENSIVE REPAIR! hope this helps or gives you ideas of what to look for.

It warms the coolant. The block heater screws into the side of the block right above the oil filter. It takes a 17 mm hex socket to remove the factory brass " plug ". This is not a freeze plug but a threaded hole just for this application. It takes a 24 mm regular socket to install the gm oem heater. If you have a 4x4 it is easier to drop the front drive shaft out of the way to install the heater. The drive shaft uses 11mm bolts. You will loose about 2 gallons of dex cool when you do this job if you don't drain the system before hand. '

If you go to www.discounttiredirect.com and put in the year and make, then the model with submodel, their site will tell what the factory tire size was and optional tire sizes. An alero GX and GL have the same tire size options, but an alero gls has different tire size options. Like I said though, just put in your submodel and the site will pop up with "plus zero, plus one, and plus two" size options for your car. Just remember that the tire the manufacture put on it (at least the size) will always be the optimal choice for the cars best performance (for speedometer accuracy,fuel mileage, etc.

i put 32" tires on my 92 sierra c1500 and it worked beautifully without even having to jack up the truck, only when i turn the steering wheel all the way and go off a bump at the same time the tires will rub the mud flaps a little bit.

You need to start by disconnecting the wiper arm assembly from the splines on the wiper motor itself. Then you need to jog the motor, once, through its cycle until it stops at its "park" position. Turn off the key switch. Then reconnect the wiper arm assembly to the motor when the wiper blades are in the proper position on the windshield. Turn key back on, and test run the wiper motor to make sure the blades aren't going off the edges and that there is no binding. Adjust as needed. Reinstall all previously removed covers and cowling.

Your 1996 GMC Sierra truck might not go in reverse because the transmission fluid is empty. You might also have damaged the transmission or the transmission linkage could be broken.

While researching some upgrades for my '92 gmc pick up, I was referenced to a fitting guide that listed 4"x6" speakers. I think the rear speakers are the same size, as I havnt found any listing for other size speakers. Hope that helps.

The best place to find the diagram for the rear differential on a 2000 GMC Jimmy is at the dealer. The dealer carries diagrams and manuals for all the the repair work.

Twist bulb and pull out. Also.. replace stock buld with a 9005 to be brighter.

take off the drum stick a socket wrench through the hole in the axle and undue the four bolts then pull the axle out.

A very dirty, plugged up fuel filter could do that. A faulty fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator could also do that. Have a fuel pressure and flow test done.
