Info on 1908 marlin 25 caliber pump?

There was no Model 1908, so I am assuming you are looking at the 1908 patent date on the barrel. Which is wierd, since the only .25 caliber slide-action rifles produced by Marlin were the Model 27 (.25/20) and 27S (.25 RF) which did not have the 1908 date. Please doublecheck your information.

Where is the Coolant leak in the 5.7 liter GMC?

Its probably the heater hose fitting at the rear of the intake manifold. It could also be the fitting at the top of the water pump. Its a special fitting but if you go to your local parts store the have a different fitting that will just accept heater hose and a hose clamp. The fitting is made of cast alum. so be careful with it, it will break off very easily. If you want it all original then go to the dealer and get the piece of crap fitting. In replacing with non original part you will have to replace the whole hose to the top of the water pump, because of the steel portion with the "special" end on it. . The other possible place is the radiator end or ends. The radiator ends are plastic, where the trans cooler lines go in or the oil cooler lines go in they are famous for cracking and won't leak cold. When it heats up it will drip after a drive. Check for puddles in the front on drivers side and passengers side after the engine heats up. Hope this helps, good luck

Would a faulty EGR valve cause a 2001 GMC Yukon to die at highway speed?

Easy E.G.R. repairI've had problems with e.g.r system on my 00 Suburban, but never at highway speed. Cold start/stumble at idle. Remove the valve from intake and check for carbon build up inside it. Clean it with throttle body cleaner and reinstall with aftermarket gasket that has a mesh screen built into it that stops chunks of carbon from getting stuck in valve. Cheap and easy fix.

My 2002 Yukon XL (about 76,000 mi. at the time) Died at highway speed twice in the same trip from NC to MA I had a bad O2 sensor on the way to Myrtle Beach, had it replaced ($270 at a dealer ouch!)and on the way back to MA It died on me w/no warning, turns out it was restricted catalytic converters that had to be replaced (thank you 100,000 mile warranty)

Take your Yukon to the dealership and have them run the codes on there computer. they'll probably charge you about $75 bucks but it should tell you what was going on with your motor when it quit. and may save you allot of time and $$ in trial and error

Jeep Liberty put it in 4 wheel drive then it makes a clicking noise?

My jeep makes this noise sometimes too the only thing I can tell you is check the transfer case fluid then if it doesn't stop make sure it's not something more serious like u joints or your transfer case itself, but it's most likely the transfer case fluid

Will a 2002 gmc Yukon awd drive with out frt prop shaft?

There will be no 4WD function of any sort with the front shaft removed. The vehicle will drive through the rear axle only and will throw a fault code if "4WD AUTO" is selected. Obviously, there would be no way power could be transmitted to the front axle.

The question may come from the old 4WD trick to service one drive (propeller)shaft at a time, If the rear shaft was removed, the truck could be driven as a front wheel drive vehicle by placing the ring in 4WD. If the truck was equipped with "full Time 4WD", the rig would have to be placed in 4wd "LOCK" to power the front or rear diff--otherwise the center differental would be "unloaded" and would just spin free not moving the truck.

"4WD auto" engages the front differental dog clutch but does not engage the transfer case. The ABS sensor will attempt to engage the transfer case of it notes more than 100 rpm difference between the front and rear wheels, indicating the front is not moving and rear wheels are slipping. This is an idiot's feature. The attempt to engage the transfer under load often results in broken parts. The PCM (computer) attempts to mitigate this by retarding gas and spark but parts are still damaged. DO not use '4WD auto"--it is for driver's so inexperienced that should remain in the garage in bad weather.

And yes, you can drive your Yukon with the rear shaft missing. Just place it in regular 4WD high and motor on until your rear shaft as been serviced and is ready for reinstall. There is more but I hope this helps.

What can we reduce?

The only thing you can not reduce is "nothing". Everything else can be reduced somehow.

How do you get the evaporator coil out of 2003 GMC Yukon XL?

To replace the evap. can be a rude job. It's behind everything in the dash and on a lot of vehicles you have to dismember the entire dash to get at it. If you have to gut the entire dash you may want to consider replacing the heater core also while you're in there as it's close by.

How do you reset the abs light on a 1998 Chrysler Sebring?

unhook battery cables for five or six, but the problem will come back because if the light is on there is fault in the ABS system

How do youReset envoy security system?

There could be many reasons for this failure. Normally it is caused by a faulty passlock sensor. The ONLY way to be certain is going to be by using a class 2 scan tool with the ability to read more than simple check engine lights. The security light blinking is much like a check engine light and with this tool you can find the trouble code associated with the no start condition. There is a simple relearn procedure that you can try. It may work, but if it doesn't you are going to be stuck getting this to someone with the proper diagnostic equipment to find the failure. Here is how the relearn is done.

  • Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  • Attempt to start the engine, then release the key to ON (vehicle will not start).
  • Observe the SECURITY telltale, after approximately 10 minutes the telltale will turn OFF.
  • Turn OFF the ignition, and wait 5 seconds.
  • Repeat steps 1 through 4 two more times for a total of 3 cycles/30 minutes ( the vehicle is now ready to relearn the PasslockTM Sensor Data Code and/or passwords on the next ignition switch

transition from OFF to CRANK).

Important

The vehicle learns the PasslockTM Sensor Data Code and/or password XX the next ignition switch transition from OFF to CRANK. You must turn the ignition OFF before attempting to start the vehicle.

  • Start the engine (the vehicle has now learned the PasslockTM Sensor Data Code and/or password)

Even if this does work, i would still have the vehicle looked at as it may happen again and be permanent. Feel free to contact me with any questions or if you prefer a second opinion. Good luck!

Why does 2003 Yukon horn blow fuses?

No matter what the make, model, or year, any time an electrical fuse blows, or a circuit breaker trips, unless the device is defective [seldom the cause] the blowing is caused by an "overcurrent" condition. An overcurent condition is caused by a short circuit to ground, or the addition of too many, or too large, devices in/on the circuit which draw too much current [measured in Ampheres (Amps)]. The "fix" for fuses that repeatedly blow, is to find the cause of the overload, and fixing or removing it. One common example of an overload the where some idiot adds a monster audio amplifier, or a "light bar" containing several power gobbling off-road lights to a circuit which was not designed to carry that much current, and the fuse or breaker is just doing its job in protecting the circuit conductors [wires] from overheating which could result in damage to the wireing system, or in the worst case, a fire.
