What is refreshing in computer graphics?
Refreshing is needed for maintaining the picture on the screen. Refreshing of screen is done by keeping the phosphorus glowing to redraw the picture repeatedly. i.e. by quickly directing the electronic beam back to the same points.
What video games can you play with an Intel GMA 3100 video card?
I use a nice little site called www.canyourunit.com. The site gathers your computers hardware information and runs a benchmark. This benchmark is used to determine whether your computer can run a specific game. The Intel GMA 3100 is an integrated video card which will not run many of the latest games. Hope that helps you.
Is geforce 8800 gt better than geforce 410m?
No. GeForce cards started off in the thousands, then went into the hundreds. So the 410m is far superior to the 8800gt, as is the latest card, the GTX 670.
Can you play Runescape with a GeForce 7150M nForce 630M?
possably although i have no idea what "GeForce 7150M nForce 630M?" is
How much you have to pay for a nvidia graphics card in Indian rupees?
Anywhere between 4,000 and 30,000 depending on the "quality" of the card. You could buy a good Nvidia card for no more that 12,000. This site can estimate the currency conversions, but it is unlikely that you'll find the exact same conversions on the actual market. http://finance.yahoo.com/currency

How do you put graphics on neopets in a graphics box so other people can use them?
In order to let people use graphics, you may add a textarea so they can easily copy and paste the source. Use this in coding: <textarea><img src="YOURIMAGEHERE"></textarea>
When you submit the code, a nifty box will appear underneath the graphic allowing other people to copy and paste at will.
Is a geforce 9800gt compatible with your asus a8n-sli deluxe motherboard?
I got a Asus a8n-sli se and my 9800GT works fine i got 8000 3dmarks with xp and 3dmark06
What are the jumpers on a video card?
Many cards that plug into expansion slots have or have had jumpers that allow for some user configuration. In some cases the video card jumpers are used to allow the user to "map" the memory addresses of the video card memory into computer memory and another jumper allows the user to select an interrupt. The video memory address allows the video card memory to look like ordinary RAM and the computer is able to write directly to video RAM as it would ordinary RAM. The interrupt vectors of some cards allow the expansion device to send an interrupt when there is some kind of data that is ready to be transferred. You would have to read more about the specific expansion card to find out more about the jumpers. Most of the newer video cards are built into the motherboard and even the ones that aren't are pretty much plug-and-play, and there is little that has to be done to make them work other than finding the correct driver if one isn't included.
Can Intel graphics HD run don't starve?
Possible. Since don't starve doesn't require directx or shaders.
What is the origin of the name of the company NVIDIA?
I don't know 100%, but "invidia" is Latin/Italian for "envy" if I recall correctly. That probably has something to do with it.
Nope it doesn't matter what kind of ram you have in your graphics card as they are used for different things
What does matter is what type of slots your computer has. Mine, for example, has slots only for PCI cards and I must buy PCI. You can find out what type of slots your computer has by calling TigerDirect. Start with what type of graphics card your computer can use.
How do you upgrade pixel shader?
Pixel shader technology is hard-coded into the video card and its drivers. If you have a very fast processor and a good amount of ram, you may be able to get around the pixel shader requirement by downloading "3DAnalyze" or "Swiftshader 2.0" to emulate pixel shader.
More likely, the best option is for you to simply replace your video card with one which has native support for pixel shader.
Video cards with pixel shader 3.0 are very common these days, it is not an expensive upgrade & will improve performance on other programs as well.
Is geforce gt 220 better than geforce 9800 gt?
Yes.. if you look at the specifications of the cards themselves, you'll find the GT graphics card series are always better when the number is in the hundreds.
If a game says that your graphics card does not support pixel shaders what should you do?
You will have to upgrade to a more recent video card so it will support the graphic inhancment option of pixel shadeing 1.0 or 2.0 better looking crisper graphics
Its how the game look, if the game is 3d it has good graphics, but if its 2d it has poor graphics.
Vertex and pixel (or fragment) shaders are shaders that run on a graphics card, executed once for every vertex or pixel in a specified 3D mesh. They operate in the context of interactively rendering a 3D scene, usually using either the Direct3D or OpenGL API.
