What was a benefit of living in the ghettos for immigrants?
Some of the reasons that immigrants to the United States gathered in ethnic city neighborhoods were: to maintain customs from their native countries and to be able to continue to speak their own languages; to be able to easily do business and socialize with people of their own background; and to escape from the prejudice of others.

Why is Germany's percentage of Jewish Holocaust victims lower than that of many other countries?
When the Nazis came to power in 1933 their aim (as far as the Jews was concerned) was to bully them into leaving Germany - and many German Jews left, though it was not easy to find countries that would accept them. This remained the official policy for German Jews until August 1941. The decision to kill them was taken some time in the autumn of 1941.
Between 1933 and 1941 the US accepted about 250,000 refugees from Germany. A significant proportion of them were Jewish. Britain accepted 71,000 refugees between 1933 and 1939. Other countries accepted smaller numbers.
Obviously, after the outbreak of World War 2 in 1939 international communications were severely disrupted and fleeing from Germany became much more difficult.
On the other hand, when the Germans invaded Poland one of the first things they did was to force the Jews into ghettos till a final decision on their fate was made.
How did Cary Krell die during the Holocaust?
Cary Krell died of typhus on January 6,1945, a few weeks before her 9th birthday and liberation
How often did the Holocaust happen?
If you are referring to any genocide, they happened throughout human history, even up to today. There have been too many to count.
If you are talking about "the Holocaust", this term usually only refers to the Nazi attempt to exterminate the Jews, Gypsies, and other undesireables. It only happened once: from 1933-1945. It will never happen again.

What kills people current or voltage?
Uneducated people often say "It's the current that kills, not the voltage", but this is a myth. Current cannot flow without voltage to push it.
While it's possible for a low voltage 12 V car battery to drive hundreds of amps of current through a wrench and cause the wrench to melt or the battery to explode, it's harmless to put your hands across the terminals of a car battery. Why? Because your skin's resistance is far higher than the wrench's. Even though car batteries can produce high current under certain conditions, it's not possible for a low voltage source to drive a high current through a human.
(That doesn't mean you shouldn't be careful around car batteries. Anything that can release large amounts of energy is dangerous, whether a current source or a voltage source, but in the case of car batteries, it's only a danger of explosions or burns; they can't harm you electrically.)
The myth may have started because static electricity (like scuffing feet across a carpet) builds up thousands of volts, and the discharge obviously isn't harmful. Again, the myth is wrong. The harmlessness of static shocks is not due to low current. They're actually relatively high current: several amps. The reason static shocks are harmless is because they are extremely short in duration. The amps of current only flow for a fraction of a microsecond, which isn't enough time to cause any damage.
The current through the heart is what kills you. It only takes a few milliamps to disrupt the heartbeat. (About 15mA for men and 10mA for women, though this varies from person to person.)
Your body has resistance, and it is very high. This is why high voltage is dangerous, low voltages cannot cause the amount of current to flow that is deadly. High voltages can. Remember ohms law here: V = IR where V is voltage, R is resistance, and I is current. What to know how much voltage will kill you? Take a ohmmeter and hold one lead in each hand, then multiply the reading by 0.025 (25mA).
Electrical burns are from power dissipation in your body. This is a product of both voltage and current. As the voltage forces the current through you, the resistance in you causes power dissipation. This power builds up has heat and burns you. Remember the formulas: P = IV and V = IR, so P = V2/R.
To summarize, current is what messes you up, and it is a function of voltage.
How was the figure of 6 million Jews killed in the holocaust arrived at By who and in what year?
The figure of 6 million first became public in an affidavit by Wilhelm Hoettl, dated 25 November 1945 and presented to the Nuremberg Tribunal in evidence. (Hoettl was a close associate of Eichmann).
No they all have different personalities and act differently.
Why is there hatred between christians and Jews?
Answer 1
There isn't any hatred between them, thought there are disagreements. Jews do not believe in Christ, which is who Christian's "religion" is based on. Jews do not have any beliefs regarding Jesus and most consider him to be a failed Messianic Candidate. Both "religions" (to call them something) believe in God, and God says not to hate!! (he says to love your enemies!)
Answer 2
Typically, Jews do not like those who would wish them ill. For many centuries, Christians through the Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant, and Eastern Churches demonized and violently attacked Jews, leading to hatred. They did this because they believed the Jews to be Christkillers and many other nasty things. They tortured, murdered, discriminated against, and demoralized Jews. Christian Anti-Semitism has only really eroded in the 20th century in the aftermath of the Holocaust. To read about Anti-Semitism, please see the Related Question below.
However, there is no Jewish religious belief to dislike or hate Christians and Jews who have a blanket hatred of Christianity are not faithful to Jewish teachings. Catholicism and several other forms of Christianity have also renounced their historical Anti-Semitic positions, leading to a much better interfaith relationship.

When did the Soviet Union Hand over Jewish refugees to Nazi Germany?
Hello,
maybe you've already found the answer to your question in the movie "The Soviet Story" from 2008. It mentions 1937 and 1938 as some years, but the NKVD and Gestapo collaboration lasted to early 1940. During and after the German invasion of Poland, tens of thousands of Jews fled to the USSR, many of them were also handed over to Hitler, as a result of the non-agression pact and before mentioned cooperation between the secret police of both states.
Stalin handed over the Jews as a "good gesture", he even handed over German communists who had fled to the USSR. Some of the handovers took place along Brest-Litovsk. There's a book called "Under two dictators" which deals with this issue. Hope this info helps..
