pretty much only way to stop the fuel, is if you have an electric fuel pump, you can remove fuel pump fuse.but you really dont need to do this for a compression test. in performing a compression test, you need to remove spark plugs to use compression gage. before you start, remove the lead that goes from distributor to coil, and you will not have spark at the plugs you can also use a remote stater switch connected to starter motor and leave ignition turned off. the engine will still turn but no ignition will be available to start engine

Where is the turn signal flasher located on a 2001 Honda Civic Lx?
If it is at all like the 2002, it is in the fuse box under the dash. Although I didn't look in the manual, the fuse box location should be shown in the manual.
There is a panel just under the dash that straddles the steering column. Thee are two thumb screws you turn 90 degerees to open and then remove the panel. You should see the fuse box. It will be easier if you remove the single Phillips head screw mounting the fuse box and then pull the box down. Ther3e is sufficient play in the wiring harness so it isn't any problem. Te flasher is one of those black boxes. To remove it you will need a flat head screw driver to gently pry backk the retaining tabs tehn you can just pull the flasher out.
Location of starter on 2006 Honda civic engine?
Its located on the back side of the engine tucked very high up under the intake manifold and has a long top bolt 14 MM that is one of the hardest bolts to both get out and back in. Just finished my replacement August 17, 2011, took six hours mostly due to working underneath the car and very little access to the terrible bolt.
Remove the exhaust pipe and the bracket bracing the plastic intake manifold.
Used 3 wadded up paper shop towels tucked on electric motor side of started to get the new started held in place while spending 3 hours to get the upper bolt back in. Recommend a full lift for this job, my jack stands and a crawler and extremely tight places!!. Will need every extension and 1/4 drives to get this bolt back.

Where is the horn located on a 2004 Honda Civic?
I am not entirely sure about the 2004, but in a 2001 Civic DX it is located behind the front bumper on the driver's side. You have to take the bumper off to get at it.
It seems like your window has fallen off track. This is a two man job. What you'll need to do is take off your door panel off (which is a real bitch) by taking off the window crank (google it) unscrew all of the screws you can find on the paneling (make sure to take off the speaker cover and unscrew those), and pull it off from the bottom up. Once you have your paneling off you can unplug your speaker from the back of it and put the paneling aside. Now you have to take off the plastic covering so you can get to the track (don't damage it too much because you'll have to put it back on with tape or glue.) Now you'll have to use a wrench to pull the window out from above. After you've pulled the window out make sure to grease up the metal tracks. After they're nice and greased you put the window back in and make sure it is in between the tracks and have your friend screw it back onto the track. Once it's screwed back on nice and tight you can put the paneling back on the same way you took it off and you should be good to go.
