In a 2001 Honda Odyssey, the fuse for the radio is typically located in the under-dash fuse box. It is usually labeled as "ACC" or "Radio" and is a 7.5-amp fuse. Can only tell you the cost of replacing the timing belt, water pump, and few other minor items on my 2006 Odyssey Touring -- $750.00 !

Get the parts at autozone or a similar store and do it yourself, not too difficult if you are mechanically inclined, or have a friend who is. Parts should run you $190, there is a kit that includes the belt, water pump and the pulleys all together.

check your main relay, that is a problem in those years after a while..

There are pages and pages of things that can cause a check engine light. You need to have it checked with a scantool. Then the code can be diagnosed and repaired.

new rotors can have high spots have them turned also if lug nuts are over tight it can do the same thing i always use a torx stick when installing wheels back on the car or truck

Just get a new support. There is some variance in how they attach depending on the car. There should be an instruction sheet with the new one if there is a difference from the original one. Some come with a new mounting bolt, some just clip on the old bolts.

My wife just removed the clock fuse and the sliding door fuses....and it fixed the problem (28 Jan. 2010) on her 2003 Odyssey Van.

The original problem: sliding door stuck open - could not manually move it at all (even in manual mode). The (passenger side) sliding door was having issues of not fully latching (had to push it to latch it in place) for 3-4 months before being stuck.

Here is an answer to a similar question I found:

I have a 2001 Honda Odyssey and have taken the van to the dealer to get the power door reset.... $50. There is apparently a breaker of some sort (not the electrical fuse) that causes the door to stop functioning if it has a problem opening or something causes it to stick when you try to open it. AVOID THE $50 CHARGE and the wasted time of having this "repaired".

To reset, I tried both of these suggestions below at the same time. I found these elsewhere online... not sure which worked, but the door is working again without a trip to the mechanic.

Posts elsewhere indicated that this worked on both 2000 and 2001 Honda Odyssey vans.

Suggestion #1

1.) Disable the power door switch on the left dashboard.

2.) Remove the power door fuses located under the front passenger leg area.

3.) Manually open and close both sliding doors.

4.) Restore the power door fuses located under the front passenger leg area.

5.) Enable the power door switch on the left dashboard.

6.) Try opening the sliding doors.

Suggestion #2

Remove fuse #13 (clock) for 30 seconds or more from the passenger side fusebox. This will reset the door and the clock.

B. Change engine oil & filter.

2. Change engine air filter & cabin filter. Check all belts.

5. Replace engine coolant.

This happened right after a new battery was installed on my 2007 EX model. I got some assistance fromthe Honda dealership technician to resolve the issue.

1. Turn off the engine and place the key in Radio position and turn off the radio.

2. While pressing #1 and #6 at the same time,turn on the radio now.

3. You will see a sequence of digits displayed on the screen that you need to read it to the technician.

4. Now you will see the radio displays 'CODE'.

4. In turn, he will ask you to punch in a different set of digits to unlock the radio.

Here's the Utility Tray removal process:

Pull the tray out as far as it will go.

On the left and right side of the tray (between the tray and the enclosure) there are two projecting rails that the tray slides on. Beneath each rail there is a white nylon pad (at the back of the tray) that comes to rest against a projecting piece of black plastic (a "stop") that prevents the tray from sliding completely out.

With GENTLE pressure pulling on the tray, slide a narrow flat blade screwdriver between the black "stop" and the tray. Rest the blade of the screwdriver against the white nylon pad and GENTLY push the stop away from the tray until the white nylon pad slides just past the projection. You will have to allow the screwdriver to move with the tray.

Continue to GENTLY hold the tray open so the nylon pad does not slip back behind the stop and repeat the process on the other side of the tray.

You will need good lighting and will probably have to remove the console to have access and see what you are doing.

To replace the tray, first remove the obstructions from the enclosure, and then align the slide rails with the receiving slots on the enclosure; gently pushing the tray back into poisiton.

Remember, anything 1/2 thick or less can slide over the back of the tray and into the tray enclosure, so don't overload the tray.

Good luck and thanks to Honda for making this an unnecessarily complex process - east to install but difficult to remove for service. Hopefully they redisigned the tray so things can't slip over the back or sides.

It took longeer to type this than to remove the tray.

It is in Odyssey manual page 324 (Maintenance minder). Under code B many things have to be checked including brakes, tires, tire rod ends etc. code 2 is to replace filters and 4 is to replace spark plugs and timing belt.

Answer:

I'm looking in the Chilton repair manual (previous generation Odyssey) and it says to:

* remove steering column covers

* CAREFULLY pry off center panel (trim around the stereo)

* remove two bolts holding radio bracket

* pull out bracket (disconnect electrical connectors as you go)

* remove 4 bolts holding CD player to bracket

* ta-da

Short of that go to your local auto parts store and get a Chiltons repair manual which will walk you through the process step by step with pictures.

Fuse # 11, drivers side near your feet . 10Amp fuse.

That means time to change transmission

I haven't confirmed this, but I suspect that you just need to upgrade the navigation dvd/software. Unfortunately that probably means spending between 100 and 150 dollars for the update. Our 2006 Odyssey sets it's time automatically, but it is unaware of the daylight savings time change that "W" enacted since it was built. This leaves us an hour off for a couple of weeks twice a year.. It might be possible to change it using the procedure from the standard Odyssey (holding the XM button etc), but I would think that it'll just mess it up again for you even if it does let you set it.

The 2009 Honda Odyssey has a V6 engine.
