The leading and motivating function is concerned with the human resources within an organization. Leading is the process of influencing people to work toward a common goal. Motivating is the process of providing reasons for people to work in the best interests of an organization. Both motivating and leading is important for an organization to get the most use of an employee.

Abraham Maslow's focus was self-actualization. While today, this is a fairly common idea (some might say too common), it was groundbreaking when Maslow proposed it and founded the humanistic branch of psychology.

One thing to keep in mind is that the hierarchy of needs are looking at life in general, rather than individual situations. If you're in a life situation where you don't know if or when you will eat next, you won't be able to focus on much else. This is a far different situation than choosing social acceptance over food on a more minute scale (skipping meals to spend time with friends, for example).

Motivation is crucial in driving people to set and achieve goals, maintain focus, and overcome obstacles. Without motivation, individuals may lack the drive to work towards their aspirations, leading to stagnation and unfulfilled potential. Ultimately, motivation plays a significant role in shaping one's attitude, behavior, and success in various aspects of life.

In my opinion it is important to have had some experience when looking at something and recognizing it. But sometimes you can look at something for the first time and take it for known because you have had previous experiences with objects that are alike, similar to the one you are seeing at the moment and recognizing.

There are several examples. Let me see if I can make one clear for you: when you see the pen you write with every day you know it is your pen, you recognize it as being yours because you have been with it before (you bought it, you looked at it, you wrote with it) . You recognize this object, and you make it part of your visual perception, you see it and you know what it is because you have done that before. Now imagine you see a new pen, you have never seen that pen before, it's the first time it's in your visual perception, you immediately recognize this object because it has similar features to your pen. It has the same structure, it writes, you hold it the same way, but it's not the same as your pen, so you identify the two objects (your pen and this new one) as different objects in your visual perception: allowing you to recognize them and tell which one is which the next time you see them (because you have already experienced it this time).

That question is addressed philosophically, and there are two theories: one that says experience does play an important role in object recognition and visual perception and another one that says it is not important. For me, to recognize an object and to make it part of your visual perception, you have to have experience. Nevertheless, experience is not the one who determines object recognition and visual perception 100%.
