Remove the shifting console cover. Remove the shifting light retaining ring. Push the light bulb in and turn at the same time. The light bulb will come out. Reverse the process install the new light bulb.

How do you replace a side view mirror on a 2003 Hyundai Accent?
This applies at least to the hatchback model. It may also apply to the 4 door as well.
You will need a flat screw driver or trim tool and a #3 Phillips head screwdriver.
1. Roll down the window.
2. At the front of the door, just in front of the window, on the inside is a small black triangular piece of trim. This may or may not have a small tweeter speaker in it. Gently pry this piece off by prying at top of the triangle. Don't push the
screwdriver in too far or else you may damage any wiring in there. The triangle is held in place by a single "snap" connector at the top. Another tab angles down off the bottom to wedge it in place. When the snap connector releases, pivot the triangle downward. If there is a speaker in the triangle, just let it hang there. It
won't go far. You should be able to see 3 big screws.
3. If you have power mirrors, unplug the connector to the mirror. It has a small tab on one side that must be squeezed in to unplug it.
4. Remove the 3 screws while supporting the mirror. When you remove the mirror, take note of any gaskets between the mirror and door.
5. To install, reverse the above steps. The triangle of trim will snap back into place with light pressure.
Why would a '96 Hyundai Accent constantly leak oil and when you step on the gas will not accelerate?
I've just examined the engine block on a friends 98 Accent and found the source of what appears to be quite a major oil leak to be caused by corrosion on the lower front left hand side of the engine block (as viewed from the front) has caused the neck of the dipstick tube to part from the block itself and is therefore spraying oil from the sump all over the front of the engine, especially around the exhaust manifold, oil filter and alternator. Although this may not be the cause of your problem its worth checking as oil may have sprayed onto an engine management sensor causing a conductive track between the electrical conections and therefore causing a false reading. Also have you checked for a blown head gasket, look in the coolant for any traces of oil, and also look at it when the engine is running to see if any exhaust gasses are bubbling through it theres are a sure sign of a blown head gasket.
ANSWERYou must first locate the leak. Could be as minor as a valve cover. Easy to replace. Make sure you put silicone gasket sealer on gasket touching the head. I would go to the junk jard, and take out entire governing body.. Take out the transmission oil pan, and than take out oil filter (4 bolts) and unscrew entire governing body and replace it.. If I am not mistaking it is same governing body as 1.5l engine accent-transmssion.. Those are camon, but transmission for 1.6l engine, accent, is very hard to find.. Anyways both transmissions are having 6 gouverning selenoids.. _Sorry if I spelled stuff wrong-but in all reality they should be same..
