Where is the fuel filter located on a 2000 Hyundai Elantra GLS?
The fuel filter for your car is located under the hood on left hand side close to the fire wall...Almost directly under the Master Cylinder..
NOT TRUE. I'm taking mine off right now it's on the right hand side under the hood by the firewall just under the brake fluid tank.
First is right; the retard writing the second must not realize that left and right on a car are as the driver sees them from the driver's seat, not the mechanic's view from standing outside the car.
Ummm... are we talking about the FUEL filter, or the OIL filter?????
The fuel filter on 2000 elantra is under rear seat, under carpeting. There is a door there to remove to get to fuel filter and fuel pump. Careful! must relieve fuel pressure or fuel will shoot out. Disconnect battery, open gas cap, more. Do not fool with unless you know what you are doing.
Ummm. The original is correct. I just changed mine on my 2000 Hyundai GLS. The fuel pump is in the gas tank under the panel under the rear seat. It's possible that there is a secondary filter of some sort that should be replaced with the pump. The fuel filter is on the left side under the hood, under and behind the master cylinder.
How do you change fuse on Hyundai elantra?
you didn't specify the year, but there should be a little access door for the fuses to the left of your brake pedal. on the inside of the door, or next to each fuse there will be a diagram telling you which fuse goes to what. just pull out the old fuse with a pair of needlenose pliers and push in the new one.
More Details
On my Hyundai Elantra, the interior fuse panel is hidden.
The interior fuse panel is located behind the coin holder pull out drawer, which is on the lower left side of the dashboard under the steering column.
Of course there's also a fuse panel under the hood, right next to the battery.
Since my Elantra came without an owner's manual, I had to download it & find out which fuse does what from the download.

shouldnt be much, but now take the right steps to fix it. drain the tank and refill it, and change the plugs. you will have to flush the fuel lines and injector rail.. otherwise start it up and run it for about ten mins. and change the oil and filter to make sure that it is not contaminated.

Why wont 1993 Celica shift out of park?
Possible problem with the park lock out? Check all the fuses first. If all good, check the switch on the brake pedal. Also check the transmission fluid level, it may need to be changed as well, but sometimes it's as simple as lubricating the mechanism directly attached to the automatic stick shifter inside the car.

How does the rear parking brake work on 04 Hyundai Elantra gt with disc brakes?
If it's the same set-up as a 2005 Hyundai Elantra GT with disk brakes all around (my car), then it's pretty simple. When you pull the e-brake lever, it tightens 2 cables which pull individually on a lever that is attached to each caliper. This lever turns the piston inside the caliper which tightens the pads on the rotor. Thus, your vehicle stays in place (theoretically).
If your cable is too loose or your pads are too worn, then the parking brake will not engage. Or in my case, if both brake cables rusted to hell and then snapped, it won't work either.

Where is the trans axle fill on a 1990 Toyota Camry?
Look on the side of the transaxle for a plug, if this is a manual transmission. If it is an automatic, the fluid is added through the tube the dipstick is in. A manual transmission takes a heavy gear oil, usually about a 90 weight viscosity, and should only be filled until the oil begins to flow out of the hole. Check the level by inserting your finger into the hole. If it is right below the level of the hole, it does not need more oil. If this vehicle has several hundred thousand miles on it, it might be wise to drain the transaxle and fill it with new oil. If it is an automatic with more than 100,000 miles, flushing the transaxle is a good idea.
