This one is fun (yes, I'm being sarchastic). The easiest way is to remove the splash panel from the bottom and work from underneath. Otherwise, you have to pull the air induction system, battery, fan blades, and fan shroud. Remove the belts, beginning with the power steering unit. My J30t was a mother to loosen enough to get the belt off. When I put it back together and started the engine, I noticed that the power steering hose was leaking. To make matters worse, it locked me out of the car! I was able to pick the lock and get it turned off before it fried the pump. You might want to use a helper or roll all of your windows down for that trick. After the power steering hose is off, you can go after the A/C belt by loosening the idler pulley. Now the alternator is yours for the taking. Have fun. Steven

They have to drain the cooling system, disconnect lower radiator and transmission lines, drop the AC compressor just to get at the sucker.

Do you mean the side marker light next to the headlight? Open the hood. On top of the headlight assembly, there's a screw with a Phillip-head pattern, next to the marker light. Remove the screw. Pull the marker light forward to remove it.

You have to remove the fuse panel inside the car to the left of the drivers seat by removing to brass bolts and then pushing in the two plastic tabs on the left and the right side of the fuse panel. Once you have released it from the frame you need to carefully twist it so you can see the back side of it. There is a 20amp fuse number 63 which is for the automatic door locks located there. Remove and replace and then do everything in the reverse order to put it back together again.
