How do you raise the seat on a new 2007 gsf 650 suzuki bandit?
First take off the seat, turn it upside down, unscrew the two screws and two bolts that hold the two parts of the seat together. Separate the pillion and rider seat (takes a bit of wiggling), now you can concentrate on the riders seat. undo the four screw that hold all the rubber gromets down (make a note of the direction they are facing), and unbolt the two small bolts on the front.
The seat should now come apart, move the bracket at the back of the seat down a hole. Re-attach the two halfs of the seat at the front but this time one hole up. You should see a gap between the two halfs. Put the rubber gromets back on, this is where I went wrong the first time, TURN THE FRONT TWO 180 degrees and leave the back ones how they are. Screw everything back together and you have one raised seat my long legged friend.
Yes there is. On the 1987 thru 1995 models the switch is located on the left side of the steering column. Its multi function controling the wiper/washer, turn signal and dimmer switch.
Will full doors fit on a 2004 Wrangler with half doors and factory soft top?
I just purchsed a hard top to compliment my soft top 1/2 door 04 wrangler with a hard top. In so doing I found that the half doors and skins were not compatible withhard top...
The good news is I can use the soft top with the full doors. I had to buy bracket that mount to the roll-bar to secure the soft top over the full door. The braket fastens to the bar with a large spin that is hand tightned.

Why do the headlights on an 88 wrangler turn off after 20 minutes of driving?
Headlights are typically ran through a resetting circuit breaker rather than fuses for safety reasons. If you have added lights to your Jeep on this circuit, they may be too much of a draw. If not, you may look at replacing the breaker as a likely starting point. 20 minutes sounds like just the right amount of time for it to heat up and trip off.
What paint for wrangler hard top?
From what I have read on forums, you should probably use Krylon Fusion paint. I've been looking into this too for a cheap hardtop I might buy. Here is a link that I found helpful on JeepForum.

Because during the design process Chrysler were offered three roof systems by the roof suppliers, one that was cheap, but would not work, one that was a little more expensive but worked better and one that worked perfectly but was the most expensive. Because those who make the decisions of this sort get bonus' based on how far under budget their programs are, the person in charge chose the cheapest roof system which had inadequate water management. He got a nice big bonus and you get wet carpets.
On a more serious note, look at how flat the roof is and then look at how small and flat the roof water management channels are, Chrysler simply forgot the simplest rule of water management, Gravity is your friend...
It's also important to note that under State and Federal law, consumers can be responsible for providing a full or partial refund to consumers who repeatedly suffer this problem under manufacturers warranty. For more information, visit www.lemonlaw.com .
How and where do you change the idle speed on a 1993 Mitsubishi Galant SOHC?
The idle speed is factory pre-set, and no adjustment is available. If the idle is too high, or too low, you will be having other problems that will affect the idle. In cooler temperatures, it will take the engine longer to come out of fast idle, as the engine warms up to operating temp. If the idle is too high/stays at a higher than normal idle, then take the thing to get it repaired. Running a car in gear(automatic transmission) with a higher than normal idle, can damage the transmission.
The only option up until around 2003 was the 4 speed auto or the 5 speed standard. When they switched to the 5 speed autos and the 6 speed standards they also went from a 4.0L to a 3.4L (or whatever it is they put in them now). You may be able to get an adapter to put the new auto in, or you could switch to a Chevy automatic which I know adapter are available.

What does the manifold pressure sensor do?
The Manifold Pressure Sensor (also known as the Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor or the Manifold Differential Sensor) is a device that is used to calibrate the fuel delivery on most modern ECU Controlled (computerized) engines.
Used predominantly after the institution of the OBD-II (On-Board Diagnostics), it is used to calculate the difference between manifold pressure (measured in inches of mercury) and ambient or atmospheric pressure. The computer uses this sensor to determine, based on the differential between the two, the conditions present requiring the fuel delivery to be adjusted.
At higher altitudes, the ambient pressure is lower, reducing the value when comparing the two readings. At lower altitudes, the atmospheric pressure is higher, generating a larger number. The larger the number, the less fuel is delivered, as decreased atmospheric pressure indicates (under normal conditions) a decrease in the density of the air and thereby a decrease in available oxygen, the second component required for efficient combustion.
Additionally, when the throttle plate is opened, the value generated by the Manifold Pressure Sensor (usually called the MAP) is reduced as the pressures equalize. This tells the computer that the operator is attempting to accelerate, adjusting timing, injector pulse width and other sub-systems to assure proper and efficient response.
