I would keep searching something else, which could be just for me. I strongly believe when some job is not for me, there will be something better next time.
If you don't get that job then just keep looking for jobs that you would like to do and put a resume in. don't give up that could be the worst thing to do just keep on trying :)

Where you see yourself in 5 years and how do you plan to get there?
Short term goals - this is your immediate and for the next year or 2 plans. i.e. if you are applying for a specific job then your short term plan could be to gain the position you are applying for and your longer term plan would be some kind of promotion within that company.
Long term goals tend to be for 5-10 years from now and you need to be able to provide evidence of how you plan on getting there, i.e. have you enrolled on any further education/vocational training courses. Have you, or are you attempting to gain further qualifications etc.
That's basically what it means in short so you need to be able to demonstrate:
a) what you have done to prepare yourself for the next year or so and how do you plan bettering yourself in the next 5 years or so.
