What does earths revolution of 365.25 days have to do with a leap year?
In a year we have 365.25 days. Now 365 day is ok but .25 remains as it is. So every four year (.25X4) makes a complete one day. So We have February of 29 days.
If you the times the .25 by four then you get a whole revolution, thus creating another day.
If you are 9 weeks how many months are you?
There are (on average) 52/12 = 4.333 weeks in a month, or in other words, 4 and 1/3 weeks in a month. Most people during pregnancy round this to 4.5 weeks in a month. Therefore, most people would say that you are 2 months.
OBD-1 started in the later 1970's and began appearing on most US vehicles up until 1996. After 1996 OBD-2 was implemented.
Why does it take so long for the earth to have a leap year?
"Leap Year" is a human invention. We made it up in order to keep our calendar in sync
with the seasons.
The seasons take 365 and 1/4 days to repeat. But if we tried to put a quarter-day in our
calendar, things would really get seriously messed up.
So instead of putting an extra quarter-day in the calendar every year, we put an extra whole day
in it every fourth year, which is exactly the same thing.
If we didn't do that, then each season would creep 25 days earlier every century. If Winter (in
the northern Hemisphere) started on the correct date at the time of the American Revolution,
then by now, Winter would be starting on October 26 instead of December 21.
What is the exception to the leap year rule?
If the century year is divisible by four it is not a leap year
Short answer:
365 days in a year
365 days x 29 years = 10,585 days
Long answer:
365 days a year
There is a leap year every 4 years which has one less day. Accounting for subtracting one day every 4 years:
365 days x 29 years - (how many 4 year periods there are)
(365 x 29) - (29/4)
10, 585 - 7.25 = 10,577.75 days (average accounting for leap years)
If you want to know the exact number of days, you'll need to know the start or end year. This is because if the 29 year period starts on the year after a leap year, there will be one less leap year at the end. If the 29 year period starts on any other part of the 4 year cycle, there will be 1 more leap year than if it started on the year after a leap year.
What problems may occur if your car hasn't been driven for about a year?
Gas in tank can go bad, the octane can degrade. Battery can need a charge or replaced. Spark plugs can loose conductivity, should be replaced. Fuel filter should be replaced. The oil can degrade, replace it and the oil filter. If the engine does start, the piston chambers can be stuck so before starting, spay some wd40 down each spark plug hole on block to help with the free movement of the piston rings. It may blow out a cloud of blue or white smoke at first if it starts but this should stop shortly. Make sure all your fluids are full and functional. Test the breaks for any problems before hitting any public road.

How do you know the year of an Iver Johnson 12 gauge?
Brian, also a question I need answers to. I have 2 antique ones from grandfathers on both sides of my family. I can find everything on them except a serial number. They were both made in Fitzburg, and both pre 1930 and that's about all I know, with the exception that I have to have a firing pin fixed in one before iusing it. 2 things I do know about them, however: 1. You will want to use the smaller load 2. Never use a specialized Deer load. These barrels are tapered inside even more than they look like from the outside, and you run a seious risk of both blowing out the end of the barrel AND major self injury. Feel welcome to email me at goodrum@scrtc.com if you want to exchange ideas on these guns. I used one of them to shoot trap for several years - kicks like a mule !!! I know just enough about this brand to not get my head blown off, haha & that's about it. - Dawn I was just recently given a Iver Johnson 12 Guage Single Barreled Hammered Champion Shotgun from my father in law. He says it was his grandfathers. It was in very poor condition as it sat in a barn for years. I've spent countless hours restoring it and it is now looking brand new. I too am very curious what year it was made. I have searched all over for the answer to this, and have come up empty handed. The stampings say, Serial number 16308, Fitchburg Mass, 12 Guage Bore Choke. I am also curios whether it should be loaded with 2 3/4, or 2 1/2 loads. Brian I'm going to send you to another forum at the related link. There are a couple of people who hang out on Shotgun World who know a bit about these. One has written a book on IJ handguns and is researching the shotguns now. I don't think he will be able to give you an exact year, but I know there were minor changes that may give him enough to get you into a fairly short time period. You might have to furnish photos or the exact width of the forearm, number of screws in the receiver, etc. Just ask how to find out the guns age and I'm sure someone will tell you what additional information is required.

Which Day Takes Every Extra 6 Hours?
We prove that we have leap years every four years and leap years have 366 days instead of the usual 365 and that means February has 29 days instead of the usual 28 when we arived with 30 hours on December 31 instead of the usual 24. 1700, 1800 and 1900 were not leap years, even though they normally should be, but 1600 and 2000 were leap years. The first day of taking every extra 6 hours is Leap Day.
