There are two screws in the black part of the inner space of the dash. Unscrew them, then remove the black part. Then you will see the dash assembly held on by a couple of screws, I think about 4 screws. Then the dash assembly will slide out from the dash, there are three harnesses attached to the dash assembly. Be careful when pulling them out so you don't rip out a wire or two. But unplug the harnesses and the assembly will be out and then you just reinstall it the same way you to it out

How do you remove a water pump in a 95 Lexus es300?
This water pump will take you a full day or more to finish. You will need some special tool like : External torx (star)socket, pully and regular tool (# 10,12,14 etc..metric). Frist ! you need to clear the room for the job such as : Two belts -(alternator,air cond., pump ect and pully) need to disconnect. And take out the plastic cover, tire etc.. There are about ten bolts. The water pump is inside the plastic cover which turns by the timing belt. I strongly recomment to change the timing belt at the same time ($30.00-timing belt- It last about 80000-90,000 miles). Remember to mark the timing gear carefully when you take the timing belt out. This will help you put the timing belt back in the right drgree for the engine perform. Water pump can only replace after the timing belt is disconnect. Good luck. This is a fun job.
