The type of brakes used also have an impact, organic, semi-metallic, or metallic linings have different rates of wear (organic is shortest, metallic is longest) 2-5 years should not be an unreasonable expectation under average conditions using semi-metallic brake linings.

I have herd that snow mode is only for when you start your vehicle up and not when driving. I also know when on while driving it will start off in a higher gear to keep wheel spin down but this should be turned off when breaking because it uses more transmission breaking than ABS which causes more sliding. If you tire pressure is on the low side, there is a sway indicator that will beep if you take a curve too fast. You may not think it is too fast, but the sensor will. Especially if the tires are low

Typically it will not be worth repairing when you compare the cost of purchased a recycled or used 99 Intrigue sun visor which can be done anywhere from $10-50 depending on where you shop.

From Lexus Web site: This procedure should be used to reset the light when the maintenance has been performed:1. Turn ignition switch to the ON position.2. Set the Odometer / Trip Display to the ODO mode3. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.4. Depress and HOLD the Trip Meter RESET button while turning the ignition switch to the ON position.5. The Service Maintenance Reminder Light will: a. Illuminate solidly for 3 seconds. b. Blink for 2 seconds. c. Illuminate solidly for 1 second. d. Turn off.6. Release the Trip Meter RESET button.7. Turn the ignition to the OFF position.8. Turn the ignition to the ON position, and confirm that the Service Maintenance Reminder Light goes out.NOTE: If the light continues blinking in step 5a, turn the ignition off, and repeat the procedure from step 1.ignition off, and repeat the procedure from step 1.

Depending on the model, this may not work. Your maintenance light is a reminder for every 5000 mile to at minimum have your oil and filter changed.

We had the same thing. We were told that there is an unprotected spot in the front grill and a rock had hit that "sweet spot" resulting in a punctured tube and all the refrigerant leaking out. It happend over a few days because the leak was small. It cost about 700 to fix if I remember right.

The 2008 Lexus RX350 rear wiper blade size is a special 14" rear wiper blade that is very simple to replace once you find a replacement. At the base of the shifter above the "P" you will see a small black plastic square. It pries off easily. Underneath that piece there will be a white button, just gently press on that and hold. You will be able to shift out of park. You might want to get your brake light switch checked because that is what controls the shift-lock.

1. With your car OFF, place your key in the ignition and turn to "On". Do not start the car.

2. Find the Odometer button then press and hold until it reads the total odometer setting, (not the Trip A or Trip B setting).

3. Turn the key to OFF.

4. Place your finger back on the odometer button, press and hold. Then while still holding the button, turn the key back to "ON" (not START).

5. Hold the odometer button in until the MAINT REQD light goes out... should take about 8-10 seconds.

To change the Backup light-bulb & the Running light-bulb for a Lexus RX 330 2004

You first have to remove the felt covered piece on the interior of the tailgate. If you look closely, there's a felt covered tab in the center. You pop that off first. After that, you have to slowly work your way around the felt covered piece and carefully take it out. Apparently, there are a number of clips around the perimeter that hold it in place. Once the entire felt piece is removed, you have to remove the large plastic piece above it to get to the light bulb.

You will see the socket twist about an eight of a turn pull out gently, pull bulb straight out.

Work in reverse to put back.

oem suggests 92 octane or better, mid grade 89 can be used. fuel economy is best with 92 octane or better.

The EPA specifies "regular" grade gasoline for the 2005 Lexus RX330. By contrast, the Acura MDX, all years, specifies "premium" grade, according to the EPA. My understanding is that the grade they state is the grade they tested with. And, btw, better mileage will NEVER be achieved by switching to premium. If your car pings with regular, you need to upgrade. If it runs fine with regular and you switch to premium, all you will notice is a lighter wallet...FACT

You need to look under the vehicle and see if there is a transfer case in the rear of the vehicle (gear box) which will bring the power from the engine to the rear wheels.

If you mean the courtesy lights on the ceiling, check them both and make sure the switch on the light itself is set to "door". They both have a switch that says "OFF/ON/DOOR".

All oxygen sensors are in the exhaust. They can either be before or after the catalytic convertor. Just because you have a code for an oxygen sensor does Not mean that it is defective. You can have a vacuum leak causing a lean code. You can also have a leaky injector that will cause a rich code.
