How do you remove the CD changer in a 1995 Lincoln Continental?
Hi...
You can change out the CD Player by removing it from the center console cover and arm rest and then by using a torx screw driver. There are 4 torx screws that hold the unit in. Two on each side of the bracket. Once you remove the arm rest cover by carefully popping off the arm rest you will see the bracket. Once these torx screws are removed, you can unplug the wire harness.
If you have the Lincoln Continental unit without the center console you will need to remove the CD Player from the lower center area behind the drink tray. This procedure is different and you will need to expose the bracket that holds the CD player in place.

I had to do this recently when the glass came out of the track. First remove the trim panel and carefully lift out the glass. Then remove the two attachment pieces from the sissor arm. After taking careful measurements use some Goop or other glue to attach the two pieces to the glass. After the glue dries you can then carefully reinsert the glass into the door and attach it to the sissor. I waited a couple of days before operating the window to make sure the glue was dry. .
