Northstar engine huh? Look towards the drivers side below the big rubber hose from the air cleaner. You should see a red plastic screw cap. This is the transmission vent. Unscrew it. If your car has a transmission dipstick, and many northstars don't, it is built into the vent cap.

Hi i just want to tell you that the dcl light is not for logging codes it is called data communications link if this light is active it means that your computer is not sending or receiving information correctly, such as fuel economy and trips gauges. It could become problematic in the future and should be serviced soon.

There is no stand alone flasher relay in the 94' and up Lincoln Continental. The turn signals and emergency flasher function is controlled by the "Multifunction Light Control Module" part # 13c788.
