First off, I personally think that binding someone should be a last resort because you are basically binding a part of that person's personality. It would be the same as tying someone's arm behind their back. So I would only do it as a last resort. Having said that, I would hope that if someone was to be bound by a spell, no one would undo it. Obviously they were bound for a reason and undoing it could be dangerous. Yes, it could be done, but should it be done.

In general they don't - magic is based on illusion, which is a method of misdirection based on known principles and techniques. The paranormal however, involves things that cannot be explained by current scientific or other rational means.
