Very simple - look for a little tab where the wiper blade is inserted into the hook of the arm. Press tab and pull wiper out of hook being careful not to bend the wiper arm in any way. Once you buy the correct replacement wiper blades, they will come with instructions. Also, you may want to view the videos below for Hook-End wiper blade arms.

There is a cap that looks like the top of a cap screw, but it is a plug, not a bolt.

If you remove the plug, you then put a 4mm hex wrench into the hole to back off the caliper (this is how the parking brake is adjusted). The cap is on the back of the caliper.

When you put the new pads in, you tighten up the caliper with that same 4mm

hex wrench, and back it off until the wheel turns freely.

Mine is Millenia 2001 2.3L turbo.

One of the bad design of mazda millenia was they used plastic T connector easily perishable by high engine heat. It is ok for several years but after several years the T's will get eroded and break and exhause air sensor malfunction will occur.

There are three white plastic T's under the engine cover on top of the engine.

Two of them can be easily located, but one is under the turbo system fixture set, so it is not possible to replace this hard to reach one without disassembling the whole turbo system.

It is tons and tons of work to remove the turbo sucks. It is really bad design.

I had P0173 and I found that all three T's got broken. I could replace two of them easily but the last one under the turbo system was impossible. I still have P0173.

Remove the plastic trim panels to the left and right of the stereo with your fingernails or something that will not scratch the plastic. This will reveal four holes on each side. At a Radioshack type store you can buy DIN removal tools. But for a Double Din stereo you will need to buy two such packages. The instructions come with the package.

on top of the fuel tank. open the trunk, remove the carpet. you will see a round plate, gold, near the ski door. unscrew/remove the plate, walla. here's a hint. pull the back seat, and go in from there. way easier.

U have to look for the diagnose box in the engine compartment by the battery u can't miss it is label (diagnose) use jumper wires and alligator clamps u need to put the jumper wire in the GROUND and the other on the TEN the light will blink fast then pause then blink again if is a two number code for example if the first number is 3 it will blink three times then pause and blink again two times if is 2 so the code would be (32) not all codes means the same check what will mean for your car model

Depends on the year. The 2.0 DOHC in a 2001-2003 is said to be a valve interference engine, meaning the valves can become struck by the piston and bent if the timing belt breaks or another event that significantly alters the valve timing occurs.

Simply remove the front wheels and the brake calipers. The brake discs are then removable. Sometimes they are stuck frozen due to rusting. If so, there are two popular methods: 1) There is a threaded screw hole in OEM rotors. Installing a screw separates the rotor from the flange it is mounted on. 2) If no screw hole for removal exists, apply a rust penetrant and let soak, reapplying occasionally (lightly); sometimes overnight helps. Also, you may use heat. A heat gun or hair dryer works well to wick the penetrant inward but it does take several minuets to elevate the temperature of large metal parts. Do not exceed 200-250 degrees, which is safe for the seals of the front wheel given their distance from the heated site. Sprinkle water on the heated parts; the rate of water evaporation will assist in making the determination of temperature because water will boil at 212 degrees. 4) If the rotors are being disposed of, use some sharp impacts to loosen it. Only apply reasonable force; no large hammers should ever be used.

Note: The rotors are retained to their flanges by the fastening of the wheel. Surfaces should be flat and clean. Use a wire brush, steel wool, or 320-400 abrasive paper with light oil to assist in rust removal. A very light coating of anti-seize compound (commercially available in small tubes or containers it is a must have item) will retard future rusting and make subsequent removals much easier.

Yes they will fit. There is not a difference in part number for a protege or protege5.

Transmission Problems, you shouldn't be driving with this on!

I believe it is 4x100. Most civic and corolla wheels should fit.

I run a '02 Protege with summer and winter tires, as I work in Calgary Alberta. Summer Tires- Michelin HydroEdge. Work real nice, put on a set before a trip accross the country. They really saved me a few times in heavy downpours on the highway. Just finished their third season. Winter Tires- Michelin X-ICE. Worked quite well first season. This year they seem to have lost a lot of grip...might look at a set of Blizzaks for next year.

no it will not fit.it is not the same lenght and the same height

that means you have good vacuum and you shouldn't do that to your car.... your car isn't getting enough air in the engine... so it stalls, kinda like someone pluging up your mouth and nose... cant happen bud

there is always fuel pressure even the car is on or not, u will need to release fuel pressure before doing any thing in the fuel line

Timing belt only lasting 15000 miles after replacement: no, not normal.

Replacement belt should last about as long as original.

If it didn't, must be either:

1. defective belt (unlikely?)

2. belt damaged during installation

3. something damaging belt during operation

what did the belt look like?

scrapes like it was rubbing on something?

did something lock up (camshaft?) that caused the belt to break?

need more information!
