1) (ex: for 360 degree--->10 cm on the paper).
2) Draw simple sinusoidale wave.
3) This wave has a period of 2*pi in rad or 360 in degree (it's a multiple of 2*pi in fact).
4) The next wave will be 120 degree distant from the first wave.
5) So you move 120 degree (or 10/3 cm) from the first starting point (having amplitude=0) of the first wave.
6) Draw the starting point (having amplitude=0) of the second wave at the distance mentioned in 5).
7) Then starting from the point in 6) draw the second wave similar to the first wave.
8) Same procedure for drawing the third wave (repeate procedure 4 till 7 but switch the first wave with the second and the second with the third).
9) The formulas are:
10) In fact when x=pi/2-----------> VL1=Vp=|Vmax|
x=pi/2 +2pi/3--> VL2=Vp=|Vmax|
What are types of welding machines?
2 basic types, Gas shielding, and flux shielding. Gas shielding comes from compressed tanks of inert gas such as argon. these gases are pumped through the welding hose and over the weld pool. The flux type protects the weld by covering it in a layer of slag that prevent it from being contaminated by the surrounding air.
What is the Purpose of purging in pipe line?
purging is the process of purging an air to the unburned fuel oil, before it be fired.
When is an engine so cold it cannot start?
Bad thermostat? Doesn't close enough to allow engine to warm up properly
What is the definition of closed loop control system?
A closed loop control system is a set of mechanical or electronic devices that automatically regulates a process variable to a desired state or set point without human interaction. Closed loop control systems contrast with open loop control systems, which require manual input.
In order to calculate the extension of the cable we must first calculate the strain. Strain is related to Young's modulus using the following relation:
E = σA / εA
Where:
E = Young's Modulus
σA = Axial Stress
εA = Axial Strain
Therefore to calculate the strain, we must first calculate the axial stress in the cable:
σA = Force / Area
The cross sectional area (CSA) of the cable is equal to:
CSA = (pi(d2))/4 = pi x r2
CSA = pi(0.0036)2
CSA = 4.0715x10-5 m2
Axial Stress = (500 x 9.81) / 4.0715x10-5
σA = 120471449.98 Pa
Axial Stress = 120.47144998 MPa
Strain of cable (εA) = Axial Stress / Young's Modulus
εA = 120.471x106 / 210x109
εA = 5.736735713x10-4
To calculate the extension of the cable:
εA = Extension / Original Length
Therefore:
Extension = εA x Original Length
= 0.0045893885704 m
Average cutting speed of stainless steel in lathe machine?
Obviously it would depend on the stainless grade because stainless is an alloy, so the speed rate would differ slightly depending on your grade.
The most important factor would be the type of cutter you use, if you are using Carbide cutting tools, with sufficient coolant you can run it at about 90-110 m/p/m (90 to 100 meters per minute)
If you using high speed steel cutters run it no more than about 30m/p/m.
My best advice to you is to ask for the manufactures recommendations they will give you a limit to work in, always start between lowest and middle of manufactures speed recomendations and then work your way up in speed if necessary. If your speed is correct you get a better finish and longer toolife.
Remember that if you run tools at higher speeds you decrease their life, the time taken to cut the material is determined by the feed-rate and not the speed, even on a lathe which has feed set to federate per revolution will only differ slightly.
Hope this helps…
What are the specifications of Q345B steel?
Q345B is black carbon steel. The specification of a Q345B steel sheet depends on what you want and ranges from 6 to 120mm thick, 1600 to 3200mm wide and 6000 to 12000mm long.
How does a hydraulic gauge work?
Normally using a calibrated bellows or bourdon tube. As pressure is sensed by the device it inflates the tube or bellow which in turn causes the needle to rotate.
Pre-seventies pitot and static systems on aircraft use this very technology to relay information like true air speed to the pilots.
Iron ore is mined in many places around the world. South America, Australia, and Asia have some of the largest iron ore mines.
What is the differences between bs 1387 and astm a53?
For example when we compare between A106-B and A53-B seamless from chemical composition point of view, we find that :
1. A106-B contains silicon, min. 0.10% where A53-B has zero%, and silicon is the important element for improving the heat resistance criteria.
2. A106-B contains manganese 0.29-1.06%, where A53-B 1.2%.
3. A106-B contains low sulfur and phosphorus, max. 0.035%where A53-B contains 0.05 and 0.045%respectively.
What are the fluids used in pneumatic and hydraulic systems?
Pneumatic systems use air or an inert gas. Hydraulic systems use water or oil.
What is theConstruction difference between stream turbine and gas turbine?
gas turbines and gas engines are different in mechanic designes uses diffrent liquid for engine we use flemmable gas we use for turbine liquide flemmable but they need air both gas turbines and gas engines are different in mechanic designes uses diffrent liquid for engine we use flemmable gas we use for turbine liquide flemmable but they need air both answer by nailiyoucef05@yahoo.fr
I dont think so. Gas engine works as the same principle of a petrol engine. And in gas turbine gas is burned and high velocity gas is passed through the turbine.
A gas engine is an internal combustion engine and have no turbines.

What are the three basic parts of a pneumatic system?
All pneumatic systems start with an aircompressor. This compressor is usually rigged with a electronic pressure switch, which shuts the compressor off once the system has reached pressure. The compressor uses an accumulator to store additional compressed air in reserve in case the amount of air required by the system exceeds the compressor's output. Both of these components are connected to an air regulator, which reduces the combined compressor and accumulator output pressure to the desired psi (usually pressure gauges are placed before and after the regulator). This resulting air feed is then connected to a series of mechanical or electric solenoids (air valves). Two lines run out of each solenoid, each connects to an opposite side of the pneumatic piston (s) that the solenoid controls. When triggered, the solenoids direct the air into the front or back of the piston depending on the desired direction of the piston. Return air from the opposite side of the piston is usually vented. This results in the pneumatic pistons emitting a hissing sound whenever they are moved.
It should be sufficient to make me live comfortably in the present and save enough for the future
It depends on your job. Some people don't have a job and therefore get just enough money to stay alive, and some people get so much or manage that money in such a way that they become rich. Some people might get between $1500-$7000 a month according to what I've seen so far, but those numbers ARE NOT to be relied on.
Maybe you could specify what job you are looking to do.
Is martensite formed when a steel is quenched?
Martensite transformation begins when austenite is cooled below a certain critical temperature, called the matrensite start temperature. As we go below the tmartensite start temperature, more and more martensite forms and complete transformation occurs only at a temperature called martensire finish temp. Formation of martensite require that the austenite phase must be cooled rapidly.
What is the poisson ratio for carbon steel?
For Cast Iron, per the related website is: .22 - .30. If you can get more information on the grade of the iron, you will be able to get close to the true value. I have in the past used 0.27 for cast iron.
It is an binary arithmetic operator which returns the remainder of division operation. It can used in both floating-point values and integer values.
opLeft % opRight where, opLeft is the left operand and opRight is the right operand. This expression is equivalent to the expression opLeft - ((int) (opLeft / opRight) * opRight)
