Menstruation is the routine discharge, or release, of blood and mucosal tissue from the uterus. This process occurs about once a month from the time a female reaches puberty until menopause. During pregnancy, the monthly menstrual cycle is absent while the womb nourishes the growing fetus.

If you're using the combination pill then you don't get a period, instead you experience a withdrawal bleed as a result of a drop in synthetic hormones when going from your active to inactive pills. no you can it will take you up ti 3-8 days don't worry its normal. Well if you have you period and school is tommorw make sure you pack some pads or tampons. Put it in ur backpack, purse, pocket.. ect. go to the bathroom every 4-5 hours. If you wake up and put a pad on and ur at school and its lunch time you might want to change you pad. If it leaks then you go to the nurse they will know what to do...... I might recommend you to talk about this to your mom she can be very helpful don't be emmbarresed
Why period id delaying for 7 months?
You could be pregnant but I doubt that because you would notice SOMETHING by now. My best guess on this one would be PCOS. I have a friend that has this medical condition. She had normal cycles when she first started her period then they came on less and less. Now she is lucky if she gets a period more than once a year. Funny thing about that.. she didn't think she could get pregnant because the doctor told her so. Well, she found out she was pregnant finally when she was a little over 12 weeks along. She didn't know because she is a bigger girl. If you do get diagnosed with this and do not want to conceive right away, use protection. A doctore can never give you a 100 percent diagnoses of infertility.. there is always that very small chance that somehow it can happen.
