Go to a doctor ASAP.
I weigh 88 pounds I am 5' 1.5 I have my period and i am 14 yrs old in 9th grade am I too skinny?
No my dear you are not too skinny. You still have much growing to do and development still to happen. You are one of the ladies that the medical men like to call "late developers". All this means is that you just haven't gotten your full teen age musculature. Keep eating properly, and in about six months or so, you'll probably start eating like a horse. This is normal and will precede you growing up and gaining muscle. After all, you can't build muscle with air, now can you? You are perfectly normal, my dear, just be patient. Six months sounds like eternity, but truly it isn't. Ask your mother about your family. It is probably genetic for you to look like you do.
Are there any exercises to get your first period?
No, there is nothing that you can do to reach menarche (first period) earlier.
You will only start to menstruate once you reach an age where your body is mature enough to start ovulating. You can't force your body to mature any more than you can force your body to grow an extra foot in height overnight. Your body will mature in time as it's supposed to, you can't change that.
Caterpillars exist to perform two duties, eating and avoiding being eaten. The pictures seldom show the caterpillars feeding, but frequently show the defensive structures that keep others from feeding upon them. There are many caterpillars here with hairs or "urticating spines", filled with an irritant that can cause sharp pain. So watch out for the spines, although you never have to worry about a bite; caterpillars never evolved a venomous bite, so you can let even the spined ones walk over you. The wonderful Acraga hamata looks as if it is covered in a mosaic of transparent glass beads; this is gelatinous material that breaks away if the caterpillar is grabbed. Several of the specimens here are hard to see because they look just like a torn leaf or a branch or a mat of fungus. For mimicry, there is nothing to beat Hemeroplanes triptolemus, an undistinguished drab green caterpillar when at rest. When disturbed, however, it raises and inflates its hind end, which takes on the appearance of a viper's head, complete with eyes, mouth, and nose spots. It holds still in this position, but if further provoked, can even make the viper's head strike at the offending predator, although there is no threat of a bite. The authors say that even if you know that, it is hard to keep from withdrawing your hand in shock if you are performing the experiment yourself.
It is possible, take a test. next time use condoms as well.
This is a difficult thing to be certain of since many signs or early prenancy are symptoms you can have before your period. A brown discharge is very normal before your period but pink may be implantation bleeding (a sign of early pregnancy). Of course this is very rare. The best thing to do is wait and see if you get your peroid. I had the same problem but it turned out I just had a bad yeast infection. If if the pink discharge doesn't go away with a couple days after your period then you should see a doctor.
What causes a prolonged menstrual cycle?
A late or missed period could be caused by any of the following: Pregnancy, Stress, Physical stress like a severe illness, STD's, rapid weight loss or gain, strenuous exercise, dieting, or binging and purging, changes in your usual routine like going on vacation can cause this also. Hormone imbalance is one cause, polycistic ovary syndrom can also be a cause. Problems of the thyroid gland, pituitary gland, adrenal glands, or ovaries can be rare causes of irregular periods.
Short answer- yes. Although this depends on your age, and should correlate with a fairly complete level of breast and pubic hair development. You probably did have your first period- it is important to know that in the first year in particular, your periods can be fairly irregular in all senses of the word! Some will be heavy, others light, some painful, others not, and generally, none will come when you expect them (usually every 28 days). But you will soon find that they will become more regular and manageable. If you have any other questions, just know that you can talk to your doctor about this- although this is all very new for you, they have been dealing with it for a long time, both on a personal and professional level, and no doctor will be embarassed or cause you embarassment should you want to talk to them about it. You do not have to bring your parents into the doctors rooms if you do not wish it, and you do not have to see a male doctor if you do not wish it (although we are just as professional as the female doctors, I know that women and in particular young women can feel uncomfortable around us). Good Luck. Aj :)
What does sharp pain in your left ovary and a burned food vaginal smell indicate?
A sharp pain in your ovary may be that you are ovulating. If it continues, certainly you should visit your Dr.
Mild period like cramping on the day you are supposed to get period no period?
It's PMD ( previous menstrual disorder) It's nothing wrong with you It's just that your period is coming but it's just a little late
depending on how long you have been on the pills or contraceptive method i would say a year minimum and a normal period is the scheduled one that you have when you start taking the pills or method
You want to go swimming will the cold water stop your menstrual flow temporarely to swim?
uhh no. that's warm water. if you want to go swimming with great white sharks be my guest, but id use a tampon.
Is it all right to lick wifes kotex pad when she changes?
I can't imagine doing that - but if that turns your crank, go for it.
These sound like they could be symptoms of pregnancy. I would recommend taking a pregnancy test 14 days after having sex. If it is negative (and you have taken the test properly) then you might consult your doctor for other possible reasons.
What if you are under stress and have a swollen tummy and missed your period?
you're probably pregnant.
Thanks for your feedback , But i am looking for some serious replies to it, if any. I am not even close to being sexually active.
When girls get their periods is it normal to get a really dark red gushy thing?
Yes it's completely normal. It's nothing to worry about!
What does spotting 8 days after period ended mean?
In some cases it is totally normal. You shouldn't be too worried but if it doesn't stop or if you are worried you should ask your mom or a doctor just to be safe.
There's no reason why you should have weight gain or pains.
Vaginal bleeding can be a result of hormonal imbalance, but it may be your period.
Can you bathe with someone else during your period?
Yes, you can bathe with someone else during your period. Obviously if you don't use a tampon or menstrual cup the blood would go in the water, but blood is no less hygienic than any other vaginal fluid so if the other person doesn't mind then that's not a problem.
Being a virgin has nothing to do with your period. It is normal to have light pink to brown discharge before your period gets started fully. This can last for a few days and can include cramping. If you notice this happening between your periods then it is called "break through bleeding" and you should see a gynocologist. A gynecologist is a doctor that cares for a womens reproductive system. Medication can be prescribed for menstrual cramps and all your questions can be answered.
No, transwomen do not have uteruses or ovaries. Transwomen cannot menstruate or bear children.
