Take the CD out and you will see it is 2 separate units the tuner and the changer. Mine one of the 6 discs had slipped 2 in one tray. The other time ti was a disc was slid back too far. Anyway just ake it out you will se what I am talking about. There are trays for the changer and a disc is wrong somehow I bet.Stuart

A large crow bar ( about two to two and a half feet long should do nicely, a pair of needle nosed pliers, and a blow torch are all the tools you'll need. But before you resort to this time honored solution for removing a stubborn CD, have you tried talking it out? Sometimes all it's looking for is a good cry to let some steam off. What kind of music is on this CD? If it's rap or hip hop, please continue with the following proceedure; First gently wedge the crowbar in the receiver slot that you inserted the CD into originally. Make sure you penetrate the slot a good 4 or 5 inches. Now you've probably given yourself a wide enough opening to use the plierss. Gently reach around the nose of the crowbar, to the left or right of it. It shouldn't really matter which side at this point.... Now GENTLY grab the edge of the partialy exposed CD firmly. At this point you should be able release your grip on the crowbar. Now with the assistance of your Ho, Homey, or another individual in your possie, light the blow torch and inser the the head of the torch in the same slot the crowbar and the needle nosed pliers are in. And EVENLY, this is VERY important, EVENLY heat the circumference of the CD. While doing this your Ho, Homey, or another member of your possie should be leaning on that crowbar and applying a strong force UP and DOWN. once the CD has become more flexible with that gentle heating process I mentioned earlier, you can begin to use a "TUGGING" force that should be sufficient to free your CD. Generally the seal on eithe the power steering pump or the rack and pinion steering must be replaced by a large shop that specializes. Not many individuals have successfully rebuilt either a rack and pinion or a power steering pump.

The 2002 Mercury Mountaineer EGR valve can be found in the engine compartment, on the firewall. The EGR valve will be labeled as such.

The "Enders Special Service" brand was one of the private labels made in Norwich, Conn., by Crescent (sometimes Crescent and Davis) firearms. If you look at the receiver, you'll see that the engraved nameplate is not integral to the case hardened frame. They would make the shotguns, fit them, and then apply the appropriate nameplate for the particular contract.

I have one, and it is a splendid field gun and leave my Winchester Model 12 behind.

My SN is 10544, and I date my gun to the 1920s.

Although a pretty firearm and a delight for the field, it has little collector's value. On a good day in average condition, it may bring $150 to 200. Crescent made tons of these. A fewCrescent made shotguns in "new" condition may bring up to $400.

Crescent Gun Co. operated until 1932.

My suggestion is that you make this piece a primary choice for hunting in the field or get it into the hands of someone who will hunt with this weapon.

of your engine compartment . It will show what type of spark plug to use and

the spark plug gap

On a 1997 Mercury Mountaineer :

Open the drivers door and in the drivers end of the dash you will see a

removable plastic fuse panel cover ( the fuses are behind the cover )

* also , the Power Distribution Box ( which is " live " ) is located in the engine compartment near the brake fluid reservoir , it has fuses and relays and diodes

A malfunction has been detected with the Anti-lock Braking System ( ABS )

could be a fuse , an ABS sensor , or some other problem

* in my case , the ABS light suddenly came on and the first ABS fuse that I

checked was not installed all the way . I touched the fuse with my finger ,

heard a " click " and the ABS light went out ( just lucky I guess , but also

suspicious of how that could have happened )

Some were flex, but only if you have the flex fuel motor, There will be a sticker under hood and gas door that say E85 approved.

I have the 2004 and it's behind the back right tire if I remember correctly. you have to have the car lifted to get to it. It should b the same place on the 2005. good luck

Hey Paul==Evidentally one of the doors aren't working correctly. It probably needs to be checked out by someone familiar with the a/c. GoodluckJoe The Mercury dealership found the problem to be a defective evaporator. Only 1 month out of warranty at 37,000 miles the evaporator was replaced at a cost of $1,000. Most of the cost was labor removing and reinstalling the dash. I hope this one lasts longer than the factory installed unit. The replacement has a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty.

A very big HEADACHE until I finally found an easy way to do it: On a 2000 Mercury Mountaineer 5.0L, you remove the battery, then the battery platform (two bolts and one nut). Now you have room to stick a slotted screwdriver between the plastic interlocked wings of the condenser and the radiator. You twist the screwdriver to break off the overlapped sections of the wings on the old radiator. Now you can separate them and remove either or both the radiator and the condenser. When you install the new radiator and/or condenser, simply drill holes in the wings before installing them, then use a tie-down (cable tie) to secure the radiator and the condenser together.

usually towards the rear of the oil pan. sometimes its on the side. and its on the bottom of the oil pan.

this happened to me! My brake lights would be stuck on and i didn't know it! i felt so bad for the people behind me. then one night they stayed on while it was parked in my drive way and the neighbor called the cops at 3:00am because she thought i was stuck dead inside the car! Anyway - you can fix this yourself - you don't have to pay all that money for labor at the dealership! There is a fuse that has to be changed under the steering wheel area. Can't really help ya too much more, my ex-father-n-law crawled under there and fixed it for me!

I just did this. You can simply use a butter knife to GENTLY wiggle the bezel from it's fixture. Try inserting the knife near the crease points on the dash.

what is meant by IAT. The IAC is located right in front of the throttle body.

The Intake Air Temprature sensor is threaded into the cylinder number FIVE intake runner in the lower intake manifold.

If the vehicle is 1996 or newer, then it uses a OBDII computer system for onboard monitoring functions. The check engine light can be turned off by using the "clear" function of a scan tool (which can be rented at Auto-Zone or be done at the dealership).
