Did the Cyprus Regiment have a shoulder patch and if so what was it?

The Cyprus Regiment was part of the British Army in WW2. Typically, the British regiments had a regimental cap badge and maybe wore their name on a brass badge or cloth patch on the top of their sleeve. The cap badge was s shield with 2 lions with a scroll underneath it having their name and topped with the King's crown. I'm not sure if they wore a sleeve device. Will a beretta px4 45 acp accept an 8045 cougar magazine?

Maybe. There are two version of this rifle, the PX4 and the 8045. The PX4 takes the Storm pistol magazine and the 8045 takes the Cougar 8045 magazine. The is a magazine well insert for the 8045 to accept the PX4 magazine for About $10. Almost all rifles are the 8045 rather than the PX4.

What would happen if the Japanese first used the bomb against the US World War 2?

I am not sure which bomb you mean, however, if you mean the atomic bomb, then it is at least possible that had Imperial Japan developed the atomic bomb, rather than the US, and had they used the atomic bomb against the US during WW II, then it may be that the US would have surrendered, and that Japan would now rule the world (perhaps also conquering its sort-of ally, the Third Reich). However, such alternate histories are very complicated to figure out. The unfolding of world history is influenced by many different factors.

Additional Thought

If Japan had developed the atomic bomb prior to the US involvement in the war, and then used it in their preemptive strike on the US, then it seems very likely that the Allied Forces would have been annihilated. At that time, the US was trying (perhaps too hard) to stay out of the war, and was not fully geared up to respond even to a conventional strike. If Japan had used such a weapon at that time, there is no reason to believe that they would have stopped at Pearl Harbor. Much of the US and probably much of Europe would have been devastated by multiple bombings.

Why won't my bolt action close on a mauser 98 when i have a bullit chambered?

Maybe you are trying to load the wrong cal. bullet! The Mauser is desigend to only feed from the internal magazine. The extractor claw catches the rim of the cartridge as it rides upward from the magazine. If a bullet is in the chamber, the claw of the extractor will not go over the rim of the cartridge thus not letting the bolt not to close. Trying to force the bolt close in this situation will cause damage to the extractor.

Could you tell if they made a cap badge for the grenadier guards with 15 and 16 flames as there should be 17?

I have been collecting British cap badges for a few years and I'm not aware of a different design. I don't have very many references, so my answer is not that definative. But I have learned that the Canadians had a cap badge that was identifcal, except for the arrangement of the flames: the Winnepeg Guards. I accidently bought one. Speaking of grenadier badges, I have a large badge that is the same size and style as the large bronze badge of the Royal Scots Fusilers EXCEPT this one has a slight different pattern to the flames and on the grenade is the coronet and feathers of the Prince of Wales---identical to what you see for the 3rd Dragoons or the 11th Hussars. What is this? It has loops for attachment, so it is a cap badge and probably not a cartridge box badge. ????

Is it easier to get in to Special forces as an officer?

No it is not, in fact it is twice as hard because you have to go through the program basically twice, so if you are worried about getting in to SF well than being an enlisted man would be your best bet.
