One of the disarming that is used while fencing or used while using a sword is known as the Disarmo Soprano maneuver that can really be helpful for fencing.

You have to check out his records and it will have MOS (job) and where he's been. If he doesn't have that, you can look him up through navylocator.com Might just be for ex-military, but you can give it a try, it should give you his job there. Take him down to Mc P's in Coronado, CA and you will find out really quick if he was a seal or not. Careful though, you know what they say about curiousity.

Answer : Look for identifying markings , especially on the top of the action .

It may indicate caliber , factory markings , dates or country of origin .

Clean excess dirt with a wipie to read markings , do not go further than that .

I own a Spanish Mauser. I don't know how to ID it but it looks almost identical to the standard rifle issued to the Germans in WW2, except for two things. (A) There is a wood stock in front of the rear sight. (B) There is an extension under the barrel for a bayonet that has a ring in the hilt and requires the bayonet to be installed away from the bottom of the barrel.

Price is : $15.000 to $25.000 depending of condition.

Many military rifles were rechambered to other calibers, so I would urge you to have a gunsmith check your rifle before shooting ANYTHING. The standard Italian military rifle is in caliber 6.5mm Carcano. There are many 6.5mm cartridges, but only one is 6.5 Carcano. It may be called 6.5 Italian, or 6.5x 52.
