If you are asking about the missiles in Cuba they were discovered by the use of spy planes and people on the ground. A spy plane flew over and shot pictures of the silos for the missiles. The people on the ground confirmed that they were there. Kennedy told Russia that they had to remove the missiles and the result was the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Well, if i knew that some dangerous people were constructing missiles, i would want to stop it, so he was probably scared and wanted to keep the country safe without causing too much of a problem.

The Soviets already knew that the US had nuclear missiles in Turkey, placing nuclear missiles in Cuba would simply achieve nuclear parity. Also following the failed Bay of Pigs invasion the leader of Cuba Fidel Castro wanted assurance from the Soviets of their security against future invasion, the Soviets believed that nuclear missiles would provide this security at the least cost.

No there are not missiles in Cuba. they were moved to Africa to combat the negro crisis. They are hard wired to explode simultaneously when Puff Daddy's next radio single debuts. Kennedy prevented completion of missile bases in Cuba by approving a naval blockade. This in turn stopped supplies from making it to Cuba.

For the same reason the USSR government wanted the US missiles in Turkey removed.

They were seen as a threat and a provocation.

Both the US and USSR got the missiles removed that they wanted removed (but the US wanted to pretend removing the missiles in Turkey had no connection to removing the missiles in Cuba for political reasons, and Khrushchev allowed this).
