The secret is that the chicken (eats feed, eaten by fox) must always be left by itself when the woman is not present.

Take the chicken to the far side of the falls (left side). Go back and get the fox, and bring the fox across. But when you do so, take the chicken back across with you to the right. Leave the chicken at the right side and take the feed across. Now you can return, collect the chicken, and cross again for the final time.

There are five areas you pass through in getting the jewel from the Diamond Mines. First, you will need a hardhat. You get this by completing the Safari. (see related question)

Beginning at the mine entrance :

1. Put on the hardhat
2. Go into the mine at right and set the electric fence timer
3. Run immediately to the hole in the fence - left and up the dirt pile, up onto the conveyor belt, right and jump right across the space in the belt, and up on the barrel.
4. Inside the mine, walk up the mine cart chute, jumping over any mine carts, until you reach the elevator. Go down.
5. Turn off the sparking elevator switch.
6. Push a barrel of explosives from the left side, over to the big rock.
7. Turn on the sparking switch, and it detonates the explosive.
8. Turn off the switch.
9. Push another barrel over, all the way right to the wall.
10. Turn on the switch.
11. Enter the mine and roll the mine cart.
12. Duck down to avoid the roof, and jump over the pointy rocks (the game warns you - jump before the sign). After three jumps, you reach the diamonds
13. Look through the diamonds with the magnifier provided (at bottom right). The White jewel should be the third one up from the bottom left corner. (It has a triangular symbol on it.)
14. When you have examined it under the magnifier, you will see a prompt to "take" the jewel.

At the Mountains of the Moon on Nabooti Island, you must beat the old man at the game of mancala. The game plays just well enough to beat you if you make random moves.

There are three rules that allow you to easily win :

1. Each move goes counter-clockwise, leaving one pebble in each pit along the way
2. Ending in your own large pit (right side) gives you another move
3. Ending in an EMPTY pit gives you that pebble, plus any in the pit across from it.

Your first move on each turn should be one that ends in your right side pit (you get an extra turn), followed by clearing to the right, or grabbing a pile of pebbles from the far side.

With your side of the board numbered left to right, #1 to #6, play the following (multiple moves in brackets) :

You have to spell OPEN using the symbols on the seven teeth. The translation key is on the journal page on the roof of the ruins. To get the page, push the large block to the right until you can jump up to the hanging vine. (Beware falling giant coconuts.) Go to the wooden platform and jump hard to the left to reach the roof.

Once you enter the code, press the nose of the face. The light will turn green and the door will open.

To open the door without getting the translation page, push the 3rd, 4th, 6th, and 7th teeth, counting from the left side.

You are actually under the Sphinx. You will face 4 challenges inside the tomb.

1. The Scorpion Pit -- you cannot get out ot it, so you have to go over it. You will reach a series of dashes on the wall, all but one of them sideways ( -|-- ). When you click on any of them, the other three rotate by 90°. So press the first, third, and fourth lines (-) exactly once and they will all line up (----). This allows you to take the upper path and avoid the scorpion.
2. The Boxes Puzzle -- the blocks are out of order on the shelf (2,4,3,1). To line them up on the pattern below, push each one off the left side. Push the first one (2) far to the left. Then push off the next one to the left (4), and slide it right into its spot on the pattern. Do the same with the next one (3). Slide the (2) block that you pushed off earlier into its spot, and finally the (1) block. This will open the wall. Push one or more blocks across to jump up to the door.
3. Falling Blocks -- you can only step on ONE block in each of the four levels. At the entry to the Sphinx are four hieroglyphics. Remember the 4 symbols in ascending order (man, wavy sea, bird, eye) and jump on only those blocks, one block in each row. For example, only the big-head man in the first row, only the wavy sea on the second, then only the bird, then only the eye. Stepping on any block other than the right ones will collapse the levels. When you reach the top, jump quickly to the rope.
4. The Sand Room -- You have to pull all the switches in the right order. There are 4 little statues, one above each switch. Each little statue has dots on its belly (one dot, two dots, 3 , and 4). The switches each drop a little statue, but the room will begin to fill with sand. You must drop the statues in order (1 dot, 2 dots, 3, 4) before the sand covers the switches. (the order of switches is far right, middle left, middle right, far left)*

The small mummy case opens to reveal the Blue Jewel.

*There is a reset switch in the left passage if you fail the sand challenge.
