On the passenger side under the hood there is two fuse boxes. the smaller one will have the two fuses for the air pump. The top 50 amp fuse is for the air pump the bottom one is the Air relay.

It is possible that the door jamb switch is weak. Starting with the drivers door, wiggle the switch and then close the door; if this helps to shut off the light ,replace the switch.

Pull the plastic trim that surrounds the radio and center stack, remove the screws that hold it in, pull it out and unplug it. Reverse to install.

Sounds like a blown fuse?

there was a factory recall on them 2 years ago on the 98s. you should check with your dealer

If it is just a problem with the gauge in the dashboard instrument panel, fairly easy fix. Unscrew the 2 screws in the top of the plastic trim that encircles the instrument panel. Pop open the lower trim pieces so you can pull that plastic bezel out, the top pulls down and out then the bottom is on spring clips.

There are 4 screws that let you take out the instrument panel. Pop off the electrical connector, squeeze the clip on it and pull out.

Take the instrument panel and separate the back and front sections, plastic clips just pops off. Lightly tsp the fuel gauge indicator so it is within operating range. Pop it back together, plug it in and try it.

When you are folding down the back seats in the car there should be two tabs... One tab will fold down one seat and the center and the other tab the other seat. You need to use some force to pull forward and then to push them back eventually but it is pretty simple to do.

are you sure your battery isn't dead??? i have a 2000 intrigue and i know when my battery would die it would just make clicking noises and never had enough power to crank the engine over

GM vehicles do not use inertia/reset switches.

You will need to remove the water supply hoses from your 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue heater core. Remove the heater core retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install your new heater core.

The Idle Air Control Valve (IAC) is located right next to the air intake on the right side of the engine exterior, closer to the EGR Valve (next to the throttle and the air filter assembly: MAF sensor, engine air filter, and hoses). Note: if I'm not mistaken, there are possibly 2 IAC valves installed. They're about $40 + tax per IAC valve.

it may be your air intake flow hose it may have an escape and doesn't allow the vehicle to get the right amount of air flow into the engine it may also cause the car to run rough and jerk as it shifts

Visit an auto parts store that has the computer that will read the codes that these lights represent. Then, you will have an idea as to the problems you face. Anti lock sounds like brake issues to me and PCS (Precision Control Steering) may affect your power steering. At the least, you should check your fluid levels.

It is integrated with the hazard flasher switch on the dash. I've heard the easiest access is to remove the A/C vents, but never tried it.

R134a I believe it uses R134. A common belief is that it is normal for A/C units to occasionally need recharging. You probably have a leak or some other problem besides lack of refrigerant.

Should be 30 or 32 psi COLD (before it's been driven) or I usually set them at 35 when they're warmed up. DO NOT set them to the max psi on the sidewall.

You have to drop the starter on the front bottom driver side of the engine... next to the transmission. The crank sensor is about in the middle of the block. One bolt holds it in.

I have a 3.5L engine. Remove the silver plastic cover plate over the engine (2 nuts up front, hinge in back). Facing the engine, it is in the front right corner under the cover you just removed.

With the key on the securuty light will flash. Let it flash for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes of flashing it will either be on steady, or go out completely. At that point turn the key off, and proceed to start the vehicle normally. This resets the security system in the computer. The information above is actually in your owners manual. You have to wait that 10 minutes because no thief would wait that long to steal your car. You on the other hand will.....so it makes you wait. Hope this helps!

you have to remove the back seats and the trim between the back glass and rear doors. there are two little rings to pull to get the seat bottom out. There are 4 bolts holding the top of the seat back and two at the bottom. then you can remove the trim and the carpet/fiberglass covering the package tray. you will need to be careful removing the trim though package try cover because they are held in place by push clips that will break if not removed properly. after that its a simple matter of using an Allen wrench to unscrew the speakers.
