Main function of Procurement department in a Production company are

1. Checking of requisitions/purchase indents.

2. Selection of suppliers for issue of enquiries.

3. Issuing enquiries/tenders and obtaining quotations.

4. Analysing quotations and bids etc., and preparation of comparative

statement (quotation charts).

5. Consultation with the Indenture for selection and approval of quotations and

with Accounts Officer for pre-audit.

6. Negotiating contracts.

7. Checking legal conditions of contracts.

8. Followup of purchase orders for delivery in due time

9. Verification and passing of suppliers' bills to see that payments are made

promptly.

10. Correspondence and dealing with suppliers, carriers etc., regarding

shortages, rejections etc., reported by the Stores Department.

11. Maintenance of purchase records.

12.Maintenance of vendor performance records/data.

13. Keeping various Departments/Divisions informed of the progress of their

indents in case of delay in obtaining supplies.

13. Serving as an information center on the materials' knowledge i.e. their

prices, source of supply, specification and other allied matters.

Okay....first you take a sheet of paper and you begin by starting in the middle of the sheet with a pencil. You start to make a circle approximately 2 inches or even slightly smaller. As you begin to reach the end of the circle, do not close it, instead begin to make another circle and do not close that circle and then begin again. You should see a swirl pattern forming from your circles. Do not make the circles too close together. Try to keep at least an inch or more between them. When you reach the end of the paper, take a pair of scissors and begin cutting from the inside circle, along the lines. Do not cut the final circle. When you allow the inner pieces to fall free, it will make a huge circle that you can actually step through from the chain of paper. This is a math game in many elementary math books. Yes most paper are made from trees. They are made by using chopped up wood, water, and bleach. First they use these huge machines to grind them up then they wet it, then bleach ti to make it white then they press the excess water out. They cut up the big rolls of paper( the rolls are over 30 feet long and the diameter is about 15 feet.) to the size of our every day paper with super sharp blades.
