Try to find out where she might be and show up there. For instance, maybe a friend can tell you she is going to the mall, coffee shop, or even a grocery store and show up there when she least expects it.

A Treasure hunt is a real fun experience. Say you got them a real big gift. on pieces of paper write out clues to get to it. Put the first clue in a wrapped box. That clue should lead to another place. At that place have a clue that leads to someone else. and Depending how long you want this to last and how much space you have to use. Its alot of fun and it gets the kids dying to know what it is. lol

Another fun idea is to have a music show. You can hire a musician or you can incorporate musical activities at your party. Play some children's music (something your child & their friend's like) & the kids can dance around with shakers or tambourines or they even make really cute inflatable guitars & microphones that they kids can play with (I think those are for kids 3 & up).

It really depends on how formal it is, if it is casual just a simple " Thanks for the invitation! I'll be there! Can't wait!" is fine. If its formal " Thank you for inviting me. It will be my pleasure to attend." or something along those lines. It also depends on (obviously) if you are going or not. If you are not, thank whoever invited you and make sure it doesn't sound like you don't want to go (even if you don't) like "Thanks for the invitation. I am so upset that I cannot come, but I have already made plans." would be good for something kinda casual. Try to be polite.

if you mean have birthday parties then yes. it's okay to have one at that age as long as it is age appropriate. so a girl could have a sleepover or spa party and boys could play hockey or go paintballing. hope that helped.
