Can you still hear after your eardrum bursts?

Of course you can! I burst my eardrum foolishly by sticking a rat tail comb in my ear and I didn't suffer any hearing loss. Maybe it wasn't as severe as I thought. It hurts a bit a few days later on, but I hear as clear as a bell!

Why would anyone want 130 cats?

I don't really know who is actually qualified to answer the Why of this but as I have some personal experience with this I am probably well qualified.

I can recall as young as 5 years old wanting to wear diapers, I did not want to be a baby I just wanted the diapers. I would look at sears catalogs of kids in diapers and long to trade places. I would dream at night of being lovingly allowed to wear diapers instead of briefs, I think I wanted a certain amount of my mothers attention which maybe I felt would be satisfied if she were changing me or at the age of 10 making sure I had my diaper on. I would daydream that no one actually would have been potty trained so we would all wear diapers. I didn't want to be babied just really wanted the diapers.

If you have a 10 year old that wants to wear diapers let them know it is not normal but don't stop them, after all if you wanted your child to wear boxers but he/she wanted to wear briefs, isn't' that about the same thing? What is it hurting? I believe it is s social stigma that children must be out of diapers by the time they are 3, who ever said that? It is an article of clothing that serves other purposes as well.

If the child wants to use there diapers then you may have to set some parameters, maybe you will help with wet diapers but if they choose to mess there diaper they are on there own, but what ever you do don't shun your child, if I am correct they really don't know why they want diapers they just do, and are more than likely scared or what you might say or do.

If they came to you with there problem be thankful they have enough trust to confide in you, I never did, all I knew was that I shouldn't want to wear diapers, but I did, more than almost anything else in the world.

Augmentin is an excellent drug for ear infections. If there is no response to this drug it is better to culture ear discharge and check the sensitivity of the causative organism. Second generation cephalosporins are also very effective for ear infections. Sometimes anaerobic organisms can cause ear infection especially if is chronic. In that case metronidazole may be useful. Infection due to mycoplasma may be treated with erythromycin or another drug from the same group of drugs.

How much 11 year old girl weigh in stone?

Well, as an 11 year old girl myself, I weigh 9 and a half stone! I don’t know if that is right or wrong, but the people out there who are saying 11 year olds have to weigh 7 stone, are rediculous. I don’t care if I can’t spell either because it doesn’t automatically change the spelling for me. Anyway let’s get back to the point, get your head out of the clouds and realise that not every child is a super model!

If a rumbuctious toddler falls on his/her forehead, a small venule will rupture causing a 'goose-egg' swelling. If there is no LOC (loss of consciousness) and the child cries soon after the event, there is nothing to be concerned about. Is Arnold-Chiari malformation life threatening?

Yes though it is extremely rare it has been proven that it can cause a rare form of sudden death syndrome by forming a lethal brain stem compression.

Chiari malformation can become a progressive disorder and lead to serious complications:

Hydrocephalus: accumulation of excess fluid within the brain

Syringomyelia: a cavity or cyst (syrinx) forms within the spinal column

Paralysis, which may occur due to the crowding and pressure on the spinal cord, tends to be permanent, even after treatment with surgery

Sudden Death: Lethal brain stem compression may accompany even relatively minor trauma associated with chronic cerebellar tonsillar herniation in patients with Chiari I malformation.

No, shots cannot cause autism - this is impossible.

Autism is a neurological difference that is a result of genetics, it starts when the brain starts to develop within the womb during the second trimester. Vaccines cannot travel back in time to change a persons genes or development in the womb, nor can they change a persons entire brain structure in an infant. The idea that vaccines cause autism is a very outdated a debunked myth.
