In 1790, Prince Williams and his deacon Sharper Morris, who were run away slaves from South Carolina, was credited with establishing the Baptist faith in the Bahamas. They both started the Bethel Baptist Church on Meeting Street which is the oldest Baptist Church in the Bahamas.

Even though Prince Williams was credited with being the founder of the First Baptist Church, he was not allowed to be the pastor because he had a bad marriage. Joseph Burton built Zion Chapel on August 25th 1835 to attract a white congregation. Zion grew, but not with whites. First I think you have to evaluate how God's love is manifested and upon whom. I assume you feel that you have personally been the recipient of God's love and can measure that by the fact that you and those close to you are financially secure and free of any disease more serious than the occasional cold.

If that is the case, then it is clear that your path lies in personally helping those for whom God's love has, for reasons known only by Himself, manifested itself in homelessness, poverty, dreadful and incurable disease; in fact, anyone who, by your own standards, has been blessed with less of God's love than you have.

Clearly, God is aware of the extent of your love for Him as he is aware of everything else, so if your question means "how many hours a day does God want me to spend shouting Hosannas in His name" the answer is None. God has put you in a position to be able to thank Him by helping those less able to help themselves. Presumably, if you waste this opportunity (perhaps by blaming a person for his circumstances rather than looking at his circumstances as providing you with an opportunity to serve God by way of thanks) then God will not only disapprove of your inaction but might, if He feels so inclined, reward you by letting you walk a few miles in the other man's unfortunate shoes. One that is a good size and has a presence in the media is in California and has as Senior Pastor John MacArthur. It is baptistic with Reformed theology leanings. It calls itself non-denominational.

MacArthur is a popular speaker, appears on popular media and is a prolific author of Christian books.

Having done a cursory search for pentecostal beliefs on the web, I must conclude they are all just another brand of protestant and they have few similarities even among themselves, much less with Catholics. Catholics belong to the Christian Church which was established by Our Blessed Lord, Jesus Christ on St. Peter (see Matthew 16:17-19), He then guaranteed it until the end of the world, and sent the Holy Spirit to guide it always. Pentecostals, for the most part are various groups descended from various protestants in the United States within the last century.

It is the responsibility of the church to help its members to abide a code of correct conduct relating to the beliefs of that church.

Go to the American Fellowship Church (link below). They have ordained people from all over the world for over 35 years. Nondenominational and they welcome women. They also provide online training, and hold a strong code of ethics.

Christians pray together for unity. Psalm 133 says that unity commands a blessing. Jesus said in Matthew 18:20 that where two or three are gathered in His name, there He is among them. It is also good and positive peer pressure. It's easier to pray when others are helping to hold you up. We're a team.

The impact of house fellowship on church growth is referred to as the church in the House. Its concept is taken from Acts 2:46-47. Here the Bible records that the early Christians met in private homes to share the word of God, for communion and prayers. This resulted in a healthy and loving church and its attraction was contagious leading to the salvation of many souls. In fact if the church has actually grown to its mammoth proportion as a result of its attention and support to the House fellowship. Here brethren meet in smaller clusters, not only to study the word but also to share brotherly love. Counselling is provided, welfare activities are pursued and intercessory prayers are regular. Other programmes at the House Fellowship include love feasts, visitation and evangelism. Information on the House Fellowship of the Church can be obtained from the ushers.

Look into the Bible in the book of Acts Chapter 2.

You will find the disciples of Jesus received the Holy Spirit on the day of pentecost.

You will see that when asked what was going on by people that were in the city, Peter a disciple of Jesus stood up with the other disciples and told the people what was happening.

They also told them what they to needed to do to be saved.

So though Jesus told the disciples what to do, it was Peter who preached the 1st lesson on salvation. This is where "pentecostal" belief started.
