Of course we do not celebrate it like it was meant originally, but we do celebrate. Jesus's birth for Santa, the empty tomb for the Easter bunny, autumn celebration for Halloween etc. All of the pagan holidays seem to coincide with the Christian ones.

Presently there are over 7,000 applications to the government for recognition as a church. The Kenya government is hostile toward Christian churches and so takes its time of granting about 60-70 churches a month recognition. As you can see the numbers are not good. Many Christian pastors waiting on their official recognition have continued to have church and have been arrested and put in jail. If you are seeking to make application, obtain the required forms, submit them to the right office, and be prepared to pay 160,000 KS to for the license. There is a lot of fraud in Kenya. You may elect to use a qualified lawyer. In the mean time, to have legal authority it may be quicker and safer to contact an already licensed church, work under that church, pay a fee for the cover charge, and then wait until approved. In this way, at least you can collect some donations. The only downside to this, is if your cover wants a bigger cut and is greedy, he may terminate your association and turn you in to be arrested and put in jail. Many so-called groups there are not real churches, they are money-making scams. The best way to handle this is to get official government recognition. Or, go underground and take your risks.

This kind of thing can cause so much needless stress for people. A gay thought does not make a person gay. In fact, many people in their 20's, 30's and beyond, may have a single gay encounter, or a brief 'fling', and this does not mean that the person is gay. There is also no requirement that straight people have this kind of experience. Think of it this way. We are, all of us, sexy. I mean this in a general sense of course; I wouldn't do well competing for degree of sex appeal against current movie stars. But as sexual and sexy people, we can at times be attracted to other sexual and sexy people, even of the same sex. People shouldn't go crazy over this, and this is absolutely NOT license to engage in unfaithfulness.

When praying, you could also just say the words that are from your heart. God doesn't mind if you haven't got the right words to say, as we know that - if we are Christians - the Holy Spirit intercedes for us.

We also know that God has ultimate power to work on our behalf, if what we are asking for is not against His will or teachings. We need to be ready to admit that what we are asking for may not necessarily be the best thing. That is why many people add ' if it be your will ' to their requests. You would also need to be sure that they really are enemies, not just someone we dislike or disagree with.
If 'enemies' means people who are giving you a hard time, sometimes God may have a purpose for them being in our lives. Enemies are not there to be 'gotten rid' of, unless God decides to. They may well be there for us to love. It doesn't mean you love the bad things they do - sin is unlovely - but just as a fellow creature created by God, and in obedience to Jesus' teachings. All of this is very difficult to do, but that is something to ask Him for - strength to do the seemingly impossible. Above all, pray that they would see the reality of their position, and know beyond doubt that what they previously found so laughable is real in a way they could never have imagined.

I think the baptist are more solemn in their way of worship but some are not believing/embracing the ministry of the Holy Spirit such as speaking in tongues, prophecying, the workings of miracles....the ministry of the Holy Spirit particularly in the gifts of the Spirit as mentioned in 1 Cor. 12 & 14!

They do believe in miracles, for a miracle happened with her grandfather in South America.

Different Baptists have they're own opinions about speaking in tongues some believe it's fake, and other believe that it's real since it is mentioned in the Bible.

They do so believe in prophesying, they very much believe it.

The difference between the two churches, they're non. I'm a Foursquare myself, and I have many friend from every Christian church and they have no difference between them. Because they have the same faith, they read the same Bible, and they believe in the same things. The domination doesn't matter.

A book with parts written by many different people, over a period of centuries, perhaps with a number of internal contradictions (depending on your opinion), and a whole passal of different interpretations that different people have of many different biblical passages. That makes the subject pretty complicated. I think the only way you can "simply teach" it is to teach your interpretations and ignore everybody else's.

A sermon that is an example is more effective because it allows the listeners to see the principles or teachings in action. It brings the message to life and makes it relatable. On the other hand, an instructional sermon can be more theoretical and may not have the same impact or engagement with the audience.
