1) Take the top cover off of the mosquito magnet

2) On the Liberty (corded version), the igniter is right on the top of the catalytic converter held in place with a metal screw.

3) unscrew the screw and carefully pull out the igniter (they r very fragile). you will also have to either desolder the two wires from the control pcb or cut the wires half way.

4) u can test the igniter on the liberty by applying 12vdc to it with 1amp curent limit. DO NOT TOUCH THE IGNITER...IT WILL GET VERY HOT AND GLOW IF IT IS WORKING CORRECTLY.

Yes... in a way. Fleas prefer to live in dark, humid places. The sun tends to warm things up and dry things out (of course). Fleas can't survive in temperatures above 95 degrees F or below 34 degrees F.

You're doing it the hard way. Boric acid is a staple of off the shelf baits- you are trying to manufacture it at home and hoping the species of ant you are after will be drawn by the cat food. Search Fluoridated ant bait stations- they are commercial quality and the best I've used yet. Irresistible to almost all ants.

When I was little my mom always used Ivory bar soap. My sister-in-law swears by dial bar or liquid. I think its the soup changing the density of the water and drowning the fleas. I'm sure some kinds of soap drys out the animals skin though.

Dish washing liquid mixed with water, about 1/2 inch of in a pan will drown the fleas also.

From what I have read and heard you have to use equal parts of baking soda, and iodized salt. This combination is supposed to dehydrate and kill fleas and eggs hatchlings. Hey the way I see it baking soda is cheap, and so is salt compared to most flea products, so why not try it? You also must treat your pets, and again from what I have read and heard Dawn dish liquid is a great cleanser to use to bath pets and kill fleas.
