What are the techniques for giving birth easily?

As a Doula I am trained at helping women give birth. I can tell you honestly there are many ways to make giving birth easier, I will share a few but strongly urge you to find a Doula in your area to work with they will help you achieve the birth you are dreaming of. To locate a Doula in your area check with www.DONA.org you can also get more info about Doulas on my personal website: www.myspace.com/APeaInThePodDoulaServices First of all try your best to stay OUT of bed while you are in labor, laying down slows down your labor! Second, the worst position to give birth in is the supine (flat on your back) position with your legs raised in the stirrups, avoid it at all costs if you can....it slows down your labor & is not exactly the healthiest position for you or your baby to be in for any length of time. Move, move, move as much as you can. Walk the halls, pace your room, sit on a birthing ball, hang from a rebozo, take a warm bath or shower, slow dance with your partner....the more you can move the faster you will get through the labor. If you can climb stairs, climb them even two at a time (it speeds up dilation)! If you have a Doula they will help you decide which moves & positions will work best for you. One of the best positions to give birth in is squatting....gravity is working with you & it is the position in which your pelvic outlet is the largest! Take massage tools, tennis balls & a rice sock with you for the delivery....they could all be used for comfort measures, either to work a muscle that is cramping or to relax it with warmth (the rice sock) (I can give you directions on making a rice sock if you contact me on my webpage...or if you hire a Doula she can provide one to you) A Doula can also provide comfort measures such as massage, pressure point manipulation to ease contractions, counter pressure for back labor, etc. Take along your favorite movies....laughing & crying help speed up labor, take along a soothing CD that will help keep you relaxed. Your best advice is to educate yourself really well on birth & labor, know what to expect, be well informed & know what you want & what you don't want once you enter your birthing suite....you are the boss of this experience, voice your opinions & concerns and always ask questions. It is also helpful to write a birth plan. In my opinion you should stay at home where you are relaxed and comfortable for as long as possible. Further more in my opinion, it is when you are at the hospital for too long and you are not progressing that they start throwing interventions at you like breaking your water or starting a labor inducing drug such as Pitocin....you should avoid those procedures at all costs as they tend to only lead to more interventions & usually end up with a c-section. Most importantly don't fight it....go with it & listen to your body. If something doesn't feel right change what you are doing. Stay as calm & relaxed as possible, if you get tense your vagina gets tense....take some cleansing breaths & "mooooo", yep that's right, mooooo to yourself.... the position of the lips to make this noise is the position you want your vagina to achieve, so encourage it, you'll see after a few mooooos you'll be more relaxed, and feel more "open" everywhere! I wish you all the best with your delivery, if there's anything else you need please let me know. :)

Chops come from the loin, or "back strap" as hunters often call it. It is the long muscle that runs along the spine. Bone-in chops take a portion of the rib, and a portion of the vertebrae. Do horses cows pigs sheep goats chicken llamas peacock dogs and cats get along?

In a perfect world, yes. It all depends on how such animals have been socialized and exposed to other animals. It also depends on their personalities and temperament.

For instance, sheep and goats get along with each other just fine. Llamas can also get along with sheep and goats because they are used as a guard animal. A dog can also get along with these two species if he's trained and/or raised, from a puppy, with sheep and goats.

Dogs and cats will only get along with each other if they were exposed to each other when they were babies, or if the dog was taught to not view the cat as a prey animal. Often cats that are able to be dominant over the dog, and the dog accepts this dominant behaviour, then they will be able to get along....most of the time.

Chickens and peacocks may get along with each other, but it's most likely that the peacocks would boss the chickens around.

Pigs can get along with some of these animals. They can get along with dogs but sometime s dogs think of pigs as prey, but if they were exposed at a young age they probably will get along.

Cows and horses may get along, but the horses tend to be more pushy and bossy to the cows, especially if there are more horses than cows or there are several horses in a large group of cows. A horse will get along with a herd of cows, however, if she's the only one in that herd of cattle. Horses tend to be the most bossy of all animals mentioned, and will most likely harass and bother sheep, goats, llamas and peacocks. They certainly won't get along with pigs, but may (though this depends on the individual horse) get along with dogs and cats.
