What steps are taken by the government to reduce the level of pollution in Pakistan?
Pakistan government has taken defference steps to reduce the polllution level. Inorder to decrease the air pollution government organize tree plantation compaign twice a year.
What is the function of methylene blue solution on polluted water samples?
Polluted water sample will decolorize the methylene blue solution faster than a pure water sample.
Particles of radioactive emissions?
Alpha particle - (helium nucleus) with a positive charge Beta particle (high speed electron) with a negative charge Gamma ray (electromagnetic radiation) with no charge Radio active decay occurs because the nucleus is unstable. It depends on the particular atom which decay path it will take. A stable atom normally has a few more neutrons than protons. If there are one or two extra neutrons, but not enough to make it stable, getting rid of two of each will slightly increase the proportion of neutrons making it just a little more stable. In this case ALPHA radiation is the result. This consists of helium nuclei with two protons and two neutrons. If there are too many neutrons, one can turn into a proton. When this happens an electron must come into existence by being ejected from the neutron. This is called BETA radiation. If there are too many protons, one of them can eject a positron (positively charged electron) and turn into a neutron. The positron will then very quickly unite with an electron. When this happens they annihilate each other and become very high energy photon (light particle/wave) called a GAMMA ray. This happens mostly in nuclear reactors or in bombs. An example of beta (electron emission) radiation is when Radium 225 loses an electron and turns into Actinium 225 (half life 14.8 days). An example of alpha radiation is when the resulting Actinium loses a helium nuclei or alpha particle to become Francium 221. (half life 10 days) During these processes, other particle called neutrinos are also formed just as they are in the sun. For more about particles check related links below
What is the punishment for littering?
You Don't........
You Get Fined.
Unless you don't listen to the cop who is writing the ticket.. The will Arrest You For Eluding/Evading them.
What are harmful effects on ecosystem?
Harmful Effects on the Ecosystem: Pollution of LandImproper disposal of waste from homes, offices, hospitals, stores and factories causes garbage to pile up. Open dump sites destroy the beuty of a place. They also provide breeding places for rats and flies, which are harmful to people. Topsoil is an important part of the land, When farmers use too much inorganic fertilizers, the soil loses some of its nutrients that are needed by plants. This is because the fertilizers limit the ability of decomposers to break down waste in soil. Pesticides sprayed on plants do not decompose easily. They may kill people and animals who eat the plants. Mining operations contaminate the soil with poison from metals. When land is polluted, the nutrient cycle may be disrupted. Pollution of Water Pollution of water is harmful to plant and animal life. Take for example, life in a pond ecosystem. Here, algae are the food producers. Some fish eat algae. Some big fish eat smaller fish. Life in the pond can be disrupted. Many people use detergents for washing clothes. When laundry water is drained into a pond, the water becomes polluted. The polluted water contains phosphorus and nitrogen which are nutrients needed by plants in making food. The plants in the pond will grow fast until they cover the whole pond. When the nutrients are all used up, the plants will die. As decomposers feed on dead plants, they use up much oxygen in the water, so the fish has less oxygen to use. When the oxygen in the water is used up, the fish will die. Eventually, the pond will also die. Sewage water may contaminatedrinking water supplies. Contaminated water can make people and animals sick. Leachate is liquid runoff from dumpsites that seeps into the groundwater. Leachate may have contaminants such as lead. Pollution of Air Greenhouse Effect Burning of fuels releases more carbon dioxide into the air than the forests can recycle. Too much carbon dioside in air traps heat which otherwise should escape to space. When heat cannot escape, air becomes warm. The rising temperatures can cause a change in climates. When the climate becomes warm, the ice caps in the polar regions would melt and cause flooding of coastal communities in many countries. Acid Rain The gases released by some industries and motor vehicles contain chemicals that make rainwater acidis (sour). Acid rain can kill plants and animals on land. It can also kill plants and animals in water. Acid rain can also damage buildings and statues.
Why would a 1988 Oldsmobile Delta 88 not accelerate when you press on the gas?
That being said.
It could just be a accelerator pump which like the throttle position senso is located under the carb.
IT COULD BE THE CATELETIC CONVERTER I WOULD HAVE IT CHECKED FIRST MOST SHOPS WILL CHECK FOR FREE.
I believe this car has the fuel injected 3.8L, in which case it could also be a plugged air filter or a fuel delivery problem (fuel pump). Does the engine idle and if so is it smooth ?.
How do you prevent birdseed from germinating?
Bird seed that comes in a bag won't germinate unless you plant it and it grows. Or it falls into my flower beds and sprouts all over the place.
Is every country overpopulated with animals?
No, actually in about every country there is a endangered species.
How long does it take plastic and aluminum cans to break down?
It takes approxmatly 500 to 1000 years for plastic and aluminum to break down.
I would suspect the fuel pump is bad.

Why are modern homes more likely to have higher ind?
What is meant by ind? More information is needed.
Is acid rain covered under your auto policy?
Policies vary so you will meed to check with your agency. Though, acid rain most likely is not covered, it could b considered damaging to your vehicle, so there is always a slight chance it is covered. Again, you should ask your agency.
Uses and importance of air pollution index in daily life?
As everyone can see,the air pollution index is use by thegovernment to measure the air quality index and to detect anypollutants in our country¶s air. This is to ensure the air is cleanand safe for us to inhale.Besides that,an early warning can begiven to us if the air pollution is to high for us to get out of our homes. This warning is given based upon readings andinterpretations of the air pollution index
Does carbonic acid cause the dissolution of limestone?
Yes, carbonic acid dissolves limestone as does any other acid. As carbonic acid is not a very strong acid this process is very sluggish, though.
What the thoughts on pollution of Conservatives Liberals and Radicals?
Conservative: There should be little government regulation of the environment. Pollution is of little concern
Liberal: Government should heavily regulate the environment to prevent pollution
Radical: pollution is caused by a small percentage of the world's population. Abolish private property and let those who are affected by the pollution determine how to deal with it.
Would coal help fix current pollution problems?
no! you are basically adding more carbon dioxide into the air (the increase of pollution).
Wildlife-wise, if there was too many, it depends on what type of life there is there. Grass and plant consuming animals can have a effect on the community if it depends on plants and agriculture. Wildlife that deplete the source of farming products by consuming them would give the community a bad economy.
If there wasn't enough, a commutiy depending on fur-trading and meat would deplete in both economy and health of the community. It would depend on what the community depends on to be prosperous, and how it is uses the animal wildlife.
