If you just found out that you are pregnant can you cut grass on a riding lawn mower?

Sure. In early pregnancy you can still do just about anything. Your doctor is the best person to ask, though. Yes you can pretty much resume normal activity as long as its not something that you could possibly hurt yourself or strain yourself. I think a riding lawn mower is much better than pushing one!

Are there any restrictions on train or air travel during pregnancy and from which month is it restricted?

I've never heard anything about a train, but I assume the same "rules" apply. Travel is sometimes restricted in the third trimester. This is done by the airline because they don't want you going into labor in the air on their plane. Liability reasons, I'm sure. And it's also suggested not to travel during the third trimester because if you go into labor your doctor isn't there to deliver and it can be more complicated with your insurance out of town or state or country. But it isn't unsafe for you or the baby. Talk with your doctor and see what they suggest for you.

It may be wise not to fly once you reach the third trimester... However, airlines will not restrict it until you are 7 days from your delivery date. If you are within the 7 day period you must have a letter signed by your doctor giving you the okay to fly dated 48 hours or less from the departure of the flight.

What will happen if you are pregnant and play sports?

well, miscarriage is always a possibility if you get hit in the stomach or fall. go see a doctor, they'll tell you what you should or shouldn't be doing.

Why can't you urinate while pregnant?

If you can't, you need medical attention right away. Something may be blocked, and not being able to urinate on a regular basis will cause harm to you and the fetus.

Is it safe to hover and mop everyday when pregnant?

It's not necessarily unsafe but you shouldn't overdo exercise when you're pregnant. Relax & take care of yourself.

Can you exercise if you just found out you are pregnant?

Yes. As long as it's not excessive. Pregnant women are encouraged to exercise as it helps them cope with the physical changes of pregnancy. Only gentle exercise such as yoga or water aerobics are recommended after the 2nd trimester (6 months).

Can you ride a 4 wheeler at anytime throughout your pregnancy?

I would suggest you don't ride over rough terrain after about 20 weeks. Dangerous things anyway.

What rides at knobles can pregnant women get on?

I would avoid the Sports Car Rallye for obvious reasons! Hey it is a great ride with real sports cars somewhat geared down! I had my first ride in a Mercedes-Benz in it in l963 ( riding passenger) and still can accurately descrive the l90 SL. While on vehicles- I would stay off the dodgem- some nut might try a ()Pocket fuse detonator) if you know what I mean- to side-swipe a pregnant woman- it is sick but there are sadists out there.

Will it hurt baby while you run?

depends on how pregnant you are... in the early months no... excercise is good for the bay, because it is good for you.. when you start getting big you should chill on the running, take up yoga or walking or Swimming :)

I especially like the ab workout and the relaxation part at the end. My favorite workout video is Karyne Steben's "The Perfect Pregnancy Workout". I thought Kathy Smith's was a bit outdated, wished Shiva Rea would stop talking for just a MINUTE and couldn't stand Denise Austin's. I didn't try the step workout, so I can't say. Karyne's worried me a bit because she's from Cirque du Soleil, but when I saw her before and after pictures on her website, I couldn't resist! The workout is great- it's no-impact and works every muscle in my body. It really helped the back pain that crept in and wouldn't go away.I felt really ready when I went in to deliver. I've just started working out with her postnatal video and my daughter really likes it! It's fun because I can really play with her and forget about how hard I'm working.

Is it safe walking during 1st month of pregnancy?

Yes, you are pregnant not ill. You need to exercise and continue as normal so you keep healthy.

Is it ok to fly when you are 38 weeks pregnant?

It is ok to fly, but you will have to check with the airline whether they will take you. Most airlines will not let you fly after week 35 or 36.

Is it safe to lift and bend when pregnant?

That is a question you should ask your doctor....he will probably say that you should not lift so much, bending is okay but bend with your knees and not your back.

Mowing the lawn at 4 months pregnant is this safe?

I THINK IT DEPENDS GREATLY on how much exercise and exertion you are used to. If you are very active and mowing the lawn is a normal routine for you, I don't see a problem, unless your doctor advises against it for a specific medical reason. My wife rode horses regularly, and when she became pregnant, she horseback rode until her 7th month. HOWEVER- if you have never been horseback riding, I wouldn't suggest you hop on a horse a 7 months pregnant! To be really safe, ask your OBGYN or family doctor. <<<ADR>>>
