What would you do if you were a priest?
When a man is ordained as a priest, he is ordained by a particular bishop for that bishop's diocese. For instance, I live in the diocese of Raleigh (eastern North Carolina) so when men are ordained for this diocese they are ordained by the Bishop of Raleigh. During the ordination ceremony, the deacon to be ordained puts his hands, in the prayer position, inside the hands of the bishop and swears obedience to him and to his successors. Once he is ordained, he remains in that diocese (or religious order) for life. Very occasionally, for good reason, a man might request a transfer, but he would have to get formal written permission from another bishop that would be willing to accept him, and formal written permission from his own bishop allowing such a transfer. No priest is ever without a bishop over him, to whom he has pledged his obedience lifelong. So the short answer is "whatever the Bishop requires of him". There are two kinds of priests, secular and religious. Secular priests are ordained by the Bishop of a diocese to serve in that diocese, religious priests are ordained to serve in an Order, for instance, the Benedictines, or the Jesuits. The former usually run parishes, although there are priests in administration, teaching at schools, running the legal system, etc. Order priests have a particular charism of their order. Most Benedictines are in monasteries, and run schools. The Jesuits also run schools.

How were Aztec priests different from the priests today- and discuss their role?
This is an interesting question. The main differences between Aztec Priests and Catholic Priests are threefold:
1. Wardrobe - Aztec Priests wore really cool hats with feathers and bones and stuff. Priests today wear robes. In both cases, however, the role of the special garments is the same - to emphasize the Priests' social status.
2. Chastity - Priests today are usually not allowed to have sex. Aztec Priests were under no such compulsion. This meant that, in Aztec society, they often increased the genetic diversity of the population by spreading their seed. In this way, they were similar to European village "studs".
3. Connection to war - Catholic Priests are imperialist stooges of the military-industrial-entertainment complex. Aztec Priests played a moderating role in foreign policy and often encouraged chieftains to restrain their bloodlust. Both types of priest were meant to speak truth to power, but the kind of truth was different based on culture.
That's all I can think of. The religious ceremonies are slightly different, too, I guess. But, when you think about it, is communion really that different from beheading someone and eating their heart?
What does a priests stole look like?
The stole that the priest wears is a narrow scarf like garment, usually a couple inches wide that goes around his neck and falls roughly knee length. They are usually the color of the season, or white or gold for a feast or a funeral, though the later could be purple or black; and usually the same design and fabic of his chausable. Catholics believe that a priest should always have a stole on when doing anything liturgical, ie: hearing confessions, preaching, giving out Holy Communion, etc. If it is a spur of the moment, like a requested confession (as opposed to scheduled confessions), or Last Rites for an accident victim, he might put on a small, portable type stole which is only a inch or two wide and a couple feet long. The reason for this is that the stole is the symbol of his priesthood, so that, for example, when confession is heard, it is not made to 'father so-and-so' but to a priest.

Priests known as augurs were important members of Roman society because?
Augury, a form of divination which involved reading the omens of the gods, was a very important aspect of Roman religion. Many political procedures could not start before performing augury. War could not star before the performance of augury. Religion, political, public and private life were closely interconnected. This made the augurs very important. During the Roman Republic, augury was conferred on the top officers of state, the consuls and the praetors. This strengthened their authority and made it possible for them to perform the auguries which were often needed before they could carry out their political and administrative roles.
