Principles governing human behavior?
Your values. Of the 7-8 areas of life, we have a "hierarchy" of values of what is most important to us to what is least important to us. Our childhood "voids" (what we thought was missing in our lives) drive those systems that are created from those early events.
I would go as far to say that for all of us that have an "imprint" put on us. This item can go from our thinking, to how we view and handle money, our sex lives, and mostly how we feel about ourselves.
While we are not a complete slave to our values, the top one or two typically do not change. Even if something important as money is at the bottom of our value list and maybe family is at the top-you can learn to "anchor" making money to your family and have the best of all worlds.
Even our P.E.A.R. (Perception causes us to have an Emotion, which stimulates and Action, which yields a Result) determines most items for us, it is that initial perception that drives the ultimate action from our "charges" or what we think is both missing and one-sided. All events are two-sided equally. All perceptions are emotionally based one-sided events that simply are not true. Our pasts are usually all a lie, until the work is done to balance those events into two-sided activities that had equal positives and negatives simultaneously. Hope this helps! Dr. Mike
What is the contribution of Dr Randy Dellosa to Philippine psychology and psychiatry?
Contributions of Randy Dellosa to Philippine Psychology and Psychiatry
1. Psycho-educating the common "tao." Dellosa's most significant contribution to Philippine psychology and psychiatry comes from his frequent media exposure on reality TV shows, documentary programs, magazine talk shows, and news programs. As the popular psychological expert of Philippine television, he is able to educate the Filipino masses by giving a psychological perspective on a wide array of life issues.
2. Opening the Filipino mind to pursue psychological wellness. Dellosa's image as the life coach and psychotherapist of people from show business and high society has imparted to the masses the belief that it is alright, and even trendy, to have a personal life coach or psychotherapist. This has apparently helped in reducing the stigma which prevents many Filipinos from consulting clinical psychologists and psychiatrists.
3. Pioneering the practice of 'Holistic and Integrative Psychiatry' in the Philippines. Most Filipino psychiatrists discredit and belittle complimentary and alternative medicine in the treatment of psychiatric conditions. Dellosa however combines conventional psychiatric treatment with natural therapies that facilitate the patient's capacity for self-healing.
4. Propagating the practice of Gestalt Psychotherapy in the Philippines. Dellosa co-established the Gestalt Therapy Association of the Philippines (GTAP) which offers training programs in the theory and practice of Gestalt Therapy. Gestalt therapy is a holistic approach to psychotherapy that focuses on integrating a person's body, mind, and emotions, thereby bringing healing to the "total person."
5. Filipinizing the practice of Life Coaching. In reaction to the western style of Life Coaching being popularized, Dellosa co-established the Philippine Society of Life Coaches which aims to propagate an approach to Life Coaching which is in sync with Filipino culture and the Filipino mindset.
6. Developing and teaching innovative psychotherapies.Integrating his learning and experiences as an osteopath, physician, psychiatrist, and clinical psychologist, Dellosa has developed Dellosa Touch Psychotherapy and Dellosa Energy Pychotherapy- two body-based psychotherapy approaches that release unresolved emotional experiences, forgotten memories, buried feelings, and unconscious attitudes that had been stored in the body. Dellosa has also taught non-conventional psychotherapies such as dream analysis, regressive-cathartic psychotherapies, and drama-art-movement psychotherapies at the University of the Philippines and in workshops for the general public.
7. Developing an innovative addiction recovery program for Filipinos. Dellosa established the Life Change Recovery Center which is a treatment facility for psychiatric patients and addicted individuals. Unlike other rehabilitation centers that employ the 12-Steps or Therapeutic Community program, Dellosa has conceptualized a 'life-transformation paradigm' which helps addicts forsake their addiction in favour of assuming a healthier identity and lifestyle.

How it does that is by:

What is the difference of abnormal psychology to clinical psychology?
Clinical psychology and health psychology are not entirely separated fields of research or practice. Nonetheless, clinical psychology focuses on the causes, prevention, and treatment of abnormal psychological disorders, while health psychology focuses on the causes, prevention and treatment of physical disorders that are impacted by psychological processes. Health psychology grew from clinical psychology as a sub-specialty. It has previously been known as behavioral medicine. How people respond to the dissemination of health education, how they make decisions about harmful behaviors (e.g., smoking or drug use), how they manage complex diseases (e.g., diabetes), how to impact psycho-physiological disorders (e.g., essential hypertension or psychologically induced urticaria), and how to reduce stress that exacerbates physical disorders are instances of the foci of health psychology. A related field that has emerged over the past couple of decades is psycho-neuro-immunology.

First of all you have to stop seeing yourself as unattractive. If you don't like yourself no one else will know how to. No one is unattractive it is just that we all have different tastes. You probably like people your friends don't and vice versa. You need to have confidence in yourself, other's will see this confidence and you will automatically become more appealing to people.
What do people think on spanking?
Well I was grown up in a family who believed in spanking and I approve of it. Children need to be taught a lesson if they keep misbehaving and it also shows how superior you are to them. If you try to be soft on your children when they are misbehaving then they will fill they are superior to the parent. Kids have to much energy in them and sometimes they spend it on acting up. Now don't go over bored like my mother did. Don't try to threaten or taunt your kids much or they will become to afraid of you. You want your kids to be afraid of you but to a extent. If you teach your kids manners the 99.9% of the time they will stay that way when they are older. I hoped this helped. :)
