Why does the Renault diesel glow plug light stay on what does this mean?
The most probable cause is that one or multiple heater plugs are faulty.
I also have a 2005 Laguna. And had the same problem.Turned out it was the battery.
Charging it wasn't a solution.
Changed it out and no more problems.

No, not that i am aware of. my car has done similar mileage and appears to be ok. I hope that it is not too costly to fix, cheak out the warranty to see if it is covered. good luck
Renault Modus - High level Brake Light Change How do you do it?
Answering my own question but hey - might help others! Thought to myself, give it a go and did. Relatively easy job when you know what your doing. 1. Open Tailgate. 2. Remove 2 x Rubber / Hard Plastic Grommits (varies on year and model) to reveal a hole for each. 3. You will see black plastic through the hole - these are retainers for the light unit itself - apply gentle pressure to both at the same time, pushing in an upward direction thus allowing the unit to release and slide out. 4. Lower tailgate gently and carefully remove the light unit. This is a sinlge bulb unit (not LED as everyone thinks) and replace the bulb 5. Once new bulb replaced, re-insallment is the reverse of above. A Renault garage would charge approximately £10 / $20 labour for this job plus £3 / $6 for the bulb! Once you know what your doing it is a 5 minute job! Best of luck

You can purchase air con aerosols to clean out the air vents in your car. Very easy to do. halfords, motorworld etc etc do them. Around £8-14.00 i think. Also once a week, use the air con for at least 5 mins to stop the smell from forming again.This includes WINTER time! Hope this helps.regards; Andrew

hi, i found on mine the actual mechanics are fine , it is the attached circuit board plugged onto the window motor that controls the speed and direction that was gone ,only problem is you need to buy the complete unit , just to unplug the connector you need, £225.00 plus vat, i bought one from a scrap yard, £40.00 complete, changed the plug holding the circuit board job done , i got a 2005 megane 1.6 16v .
